Namaste,
As the current track unfolds, there are certain turns taken which (as always) takes convenient contradictions to prior tracks.
1. Not so Ex:
The sudden turn in Kavya's character, (while not so surprising,) as this rebel seems to be an attempt to show her as this vampish other woman and according to a BTS, is ditched by her ex-husband who wishes to finance her start-up, much like Malavika did to Vanraj.
The problem here is, what do they wish to show? It is wrong to be involved with your Ex, even if it is business related?
Well, in that case, Anupama stayed in the Shah house after her divorce and subsequent marriage to Kavya. This gave no scope for Kavya to build her relations without peer pressure as the DIL of the Shahs. Further, they were business partners and mostly together without being together.
This is at best hypocritical since neither Mrs. Leela, nor Mr. Hansmukh or the children seemed to have any problem for their own convenient and selfish reasons. However, they ALL expect Kavya to turn into another Anupama. Even Pakhi is old enough to say that Kavya should be tutored by Anupama?
She said it right, that hopefully now Vanraj understands her predicament when she goes out with Anirudh. But that is not enough. It is high time the Shahs are made to realise their hypocracy. Especially Mr. And Mrs. Shah Sr.
2. Choose your battles of hatred:
Samar has softened towards Vanraj because Vanraj is now going through a lot of turmoil. He was witness to how his mother was treated. Now, when the same treatment is meted out on Kavya, he is ready to empathise with the same Vanraj because he possibly sees it as poetic justice and his angst against Kavya is more than with Vanraj.
Frankly, the character arc of ALL is going on a stagnating mode with no growth whatsoever.
I am actually glad that adoption as a topic is being addressed.
