Anuj & Anupama walked in opposite direction only to get bumped into vanraj and kavya respectively..vanraj smiled at anupama asked

V - I heard you want to switch partner..will you be my partner

She turned slightly to have a look of anuj who was listening to kavya speaking the same..she sighed and said in a loud voice so that her words would reach anuj

Anu - Yes I will become your partner

Anuj gazed at them being totally irked while Vanraj smiled widely and said

V - the day is already ended so tomorrow we will talk to teacher about switching the partners

Anupama just gave a nod and walked away..while vanraj smirked which didn't got unnoticed by anuj..worried lines appeared on his forehead while kavya snapped her finger

K - so will you be my partner?

Anuj didn't replied but walked to boys hostel to which vanraj laughed in return & kavya glared him

Anuj marched to his room whispering

Anuj - anupama ko mere alawa har ladka sahi lagta hai wo vanraj bhi wow..just wow

He entered to find Vikram searching for good clothes to wear for the talents week..where as anuj sat burying his face in his hands..Vikram eyed and sat next to him

He tapped anuj's shoulder and said excitedly

Vikram - abbe kya huwa tujhe..anupama teri partner hai jaise humne socha tha..iska matlab kanha ji bhi humare side hain

Anuj looked at him with face completely red..Vikram turned confused..anuj stood up when Vikram held her wrist

V - kya huwa hai

Anuj turned and hugged him narrating the mishap happened

V - kya..kyun?..anupama sach mae uss vanraj ki partner banna chahti hai

Anuj replied irritatedly

Anuj - wahi kaha maine tu repeat kyun kar raha hai..yaar

Vikram sighed

V - par anuj.. kavya mujhe kuch khas pasand nahi hai par as a student uska participate karna is her right ab agar anupama ne kaha ke wo vanraj ki partner banegi toh wo banegi hee par iss mae tu aur kavya kya karenge..lelo part..ab tak duplicate girlfriend thi jiske wajah se tujhe anu ko ehsaas dilwana tha ab sach mae ladki hai toh its a good idea

A - abbe bas ruk hogaya..kavya ka right hai samjh agaya par uske saath uske pass no way..tu apna dekh Jake mujhe thodi daer akela chod de bas

Vikram sighed

V - anyways kal toh partner change hone se rahe hai as our competition executive won't be present tomorrow

A - what?

V - haan..kripiya apna phone check karien college group pe message aya hai ke tomorrow we have to practice and teacher won't be present which every one knows apart from anupama..

A - devika bata degi

V - haan but you have one day kuch kar

Anuj rolled his eyes and laid on bed

Anupama entered her room to find devika making tea..she went into kitchen and hugged her from back

Devika looked at her and asked

D - kya huwa anu?

Anupama started narrating the mishap while devika said

D - but kal teacher nahi ayengi

A - what iska matlab mujhe anuj ko ek aur din jhelna hoga

Devika nodded with a wink while anupama sat on the slab glaring her

10 : 00 am
Practice room

There was an substitute teacher guiding the students to perform the steps

Alina - turn and switch your partners

As soon as anuj twirled her she came upto vanraj and anuj held kavya

Anupama looked at vanraj's hand on her waist and then at his face..she then gazed at anuj who was holding kavya and swaying on the beats

She scolded herself in her mind

Anu - anuj se dur Jane ke chakkar mae mein kahan phass gayi hun

He twirled and hugged her from back..she turned uncomfortable in his embrace while anuj looked at her..he turned irritated when kavya became extra touchy with him

That's when they heard the teacher - switch back

Vanraj and anuj twirled respectively and anupama landed into Anuj's embrace she finally sighed in relief..anuj examined her expressions and smiled

He took her in a back hug while she leaned over him calmly

Afternoon

College Cafeteria

Anupama roamed her eyes around the cafeteria searching for anuj but he was no where to be seen infact Vikram wasn't there too

She looked at devika and asked

A - devu..yaahan koyi bhi ladka nahi dikhayi de raha hai..I mean bunty bhi nahi hai

D - wo log ground mae hai itna pata hai..kyun hai wo nahi pata

She nodded and got up..she felt restless for no reason

A - mae ati hun

D - kahan ja rahi hai tu

But anupama went towards the ground as she neared the ground she heard voices and many of the boys shouting

She turned uneasy and went upto to view anuj and vivek of their class fighting..her eyes turned wide when she viewed blood dripping from his forehead and hands had bruises

As she neared to them she saw Vikram trying to stop anuj she looked around to find one of their junior ishita standing with tears in her eyes

She got a clear picture that as usual vivek had tried ragging, one of the issue that the college never took action on because vivek was one of the colleges trustees son just as anuj

Anupama walked to her and wiped her tears..ishita hugged her tightly while she patted her back

Thats when she heard

Vivek - tu humesha hero banne ki koshish kyun karta hai..

Anuj held her collar

Anuj - kyun ke tu villian banna nahi chodta

That's when one of the friend of vivek beat anuj on his head from behind..anuj felt dizzy and Vikram held him by his shoulder

Anupama ran toward him and cupped his face..she touched the back of his forehead to view blood on her fingers

Her eyes turned teary and she looked at vivek angrily while anuj fell unconscious in Vikram's arm..devika who had come following anupama ran upto them

Some of the juniors helped Vikram to take anuj to the first aid room of the college where as vivek and his mate gulped

Anupama marched towards them and slapped Vivek..anger spitting through her eyes as fire..vivek looked at anupama with his hand on his cheek and breathed heavily

Devika cupped her face shocked..the ever so calm anupama who never took a stand for her self slapped a guy for some one else

Anupama held the hem of his t - shirt and spoke dangerously

Anu - agar aj anuj ko kuch bhi huwa toh mujhse bura koyi nahi hoga..waise bhi mae tumhe nahi chodne wali iss baar toh college heads ko bhi tumhe college se bahar nikal na hee hoga..

Saying she left him and ran upto the first aid room and devika followed her..they saw Vikram standing near the bed while the doctor said

Doc - There is no internal injury..he will be fine with in few days..and will also gain consciousness by tomorrow morning

And gave the medication slip to vikram explaining him..anupama examined the scenario infact just gazed anuj..she had never seen him this silent..he had always got into fights but this time it turned serious..anger filled her veins when vivek's face came infront of her

She blinked her eyes multiple time and asked the doctor

Anu - doctor can I get his report stating his injury

Doctor - I will give it to you tomorrow morning anu beta

Anupama gave a nod

At 9:00 pm
Hostel (boys wing)

Anuj was on the bed while Vikram was on a call with devika totally confused

V - anu ne thapad mara vivek ko..kuch bhi bolti ho tum

D - mr. Bunty if you don't want to agree bhad mae jao

V - anu ko phone do..phir dekhta hun kahin ek aur prank toh nahi hai ye tumhara

Devika called anupama who was in the kitchen
And anupama took the phone while Vikram asked anupama's eyes went to the laid figure of anuj on bed

V - aree anu kahan kho gayi

A - wo vikram can I come to boys wing..mae tumhare room mae aa sakti hun

V - lagta hai mae imagine kar raha hun cheezain

Anupama sighed and passed phone to devika
While devika asked

D - tu boys wing mae jana chahti hai are u serious par kyun

A - mujhe nahi pata bas tu sambhal lena

D - what?

But anupama walked out looking here and there in fear of being caught..she knocked the door and vikram opened it

V - anu tum yahaan

A - bunty kya mae aj raath yahan ruk sakti hun akele anuj ke pass kya tum devika ke saath aj raath room share karoge

Vikram gave a nod at the pleading tone and patted her shoulder

V - don't worry anu mae kuch nahi puchunga..I will take care outside..u can stay for the night

Anupama smiled gratefully while Vikram made his way out and anupama closed the door and leaned back at the door gazing at anuj

Kab tak chup baithe ab to kuchh hai bolna

She walked to him and knelt on the ground opposite to the bed gazing at him..her eyes turned teary and a lump formed in her throat

Anu - waisey toh tumhari bakwas never ending hai toh aj itne chup kyun ho..mujhe acha nahi lag raha hai..Anuj..Anuj

Her voice broke at the end

Mar jana tha yeh bhed nahin tha kholna
O dholna, o dholna

She held his face in her palms & closed her eyes, tears flew from her eyes

Anu - agar tum aise behosh nahi hotae na toh shayad mae kabhi tumse ye Baath nahi kheti..kabhi nahi..par agar agae chal kar zindagi nahi rahi toh ek ghum humesha reh jayega ke maine tumhe apni dil ki Baath kabhi nahi batayi..par aaj batana chahti hun phir shayad ye maukha mile ya na mile..kaash kabhi tumse nazrein mila kar bhi khe paati ke I LOVE YOU ANUJ..I REALLY DO..I LOVE YOU SO MUCH

Anu - khe ne ko toh hum aaj itne khareeb hain aur humesha se rahe hain infact ek class mae rahe hain phir bhi mere dil ki Baath zubaan tak aa hee nahi pati..pata nahi kyun mujhe aisa lagta hai ke jaise meri zindagi ka ek hissa adhura hai wo sapne wo flashes aur tumhara humesha ye khena ke tum kisi aur se..kisi aur se pyaar karte ho..mujhe tumhari taraf aage badhne hee nahi dete..inn sab se bhi badhkar point ye hai ke humara koyi mail nahi hai..aur jo kabhi ek ho hee nahi sakte unki umeed karun kaisey

She sighed

Lo jeet gaye tum humse, hum haar gaye is dil se
Aaya hai aaj labon pe yeh pyar badi mushkil se
Is pyar mein humko pagal na kar chhodna

She examined him and traced his face and asked in a low voice

Anu - kaisey na ho kisi ko tumse pyaar..haan tum ziddi ho humesha flirt karte ho tumse sidhi Baath ki nahi jaati..humesha mujhse ladte ho..par tumse behtar infact tumhare alawa koyi mujhe nahi samjhta..jitne ache se tumhe pata hota hai ke mae kab kya kahungi kya reaction dungi kab haan hogi kab na hogi sab jante ho infact itna jante ho jitna mae khudko nahi janti..tumhare jaise dost bohat kam logon ke hisse aatae hain..aur pyaar toh bas tumse huwa hai..maine apne daar ki wajah se duri banayi hai jab ke mujhe sabse khareeb tumhare hee rehna tha..jitni asani se pyaar hota hai utni asaani se sab kuch undone kyun nahi hota..mujhe pata hai humare iss safar ki koyi manzil nahi hai toh try karun kyun..kahun kyun

She ruffled his hair

Anu - I love you since the first time we bumped into each other 2 years back and it just increases with passing time..tum aise kyun ho..why are you like this?

She sat on the bed and pecked his forehead..she could feel his breath hitch even in the unconscious state..she held his hand and locked their fingers

Anu - Get well soon

Later she stood up and covered him with a blanket and sat on the sofa gazing at him with no hope of togetherness yet a strong connection between their souls

Boys wing

Vikram knocked at the door and anupama opened it..he gazed at her while she said

Anu - bunty please anuj ko maat batana mae yahaan ayi thi

Vikram gave a nod & asked

V - tum theek hona anu

Anupama gave a nod and walked out

Principals office

Anupama knocked the door and entered in..she greeted him and said

Anu - sir yesterday as usual vivek had tried ragging one of the juniors

Principal gave an annoyed nod

P - you know vivek is our trustees son na anupama we can't take any action

A - even if the person is injured ?

The principal furrowed his eyebrows in confusion and anupama passed him the reports of anuj..he read and gulped

A - so sir as the report states what has happened..imagine what if something would happen to anuj what would you answer to his parents and even they're the trustees right..so please stop vivek or remove him from the college sir..think about the reputation more than the donations

P - you're right anupama I will speak to vivek

A - and sir I want vivek to ask forgiveness from anuj infront of the whole college

P - what but why?

A - he had injured him sir he might not remember how many people he would have ragged but he can ask forgiveness infront of everyone at once right?

Principal gave a nod while anupama left

Classroom

An over excited vanraj was about to speak to the teacher about switching the partners when anupama held her wrist while he looked on confused

Anu - wo I'm really sorry vanraj but I don't want to switch..hope you understand

His anger reached to peak and he turned his fingers in a fist but gave a nod..as soon as anupama left..kavya tapped his shoulder

K - let's be together in this competition and against them..iss hee mae humari bhalayi hai

V - I won't let anuj and anupama win!
