That's the reason it looked rushed and they were shooting it till 3 AM.

If you look at the story, that whole sequence does not fit in at all. One of the cornerstones of story telling is transitioning of scenes to make the narration smooth. This format looks very inexperienced and confusing to the audience. 😕

Prequel was really triggering. I would advice sensitive people to not even dare to watch it few seconds.

Baa and ladla come across as most selfish, vile people on the earth. They are so disgusting in their thought process and deeds they do to stop anupama's udaan can be compared to that of satan's. Ladla did the most disgusting act of making her pregnant just because he didn't want her to go to America. So the papa ki pari pakhi's whole existence proved to be just a plan to chop off her mother's wing....now this is not done by achhe pita....use your own baby as a pawn in your disgusting plan.🤢

Now if anyone calls him good father then my anger will burst like a volcano.

Aur bilkul sahi ki prequel dekhne kw baad anu par aur jyada gussa aata hai....aisa nahi hai ki wo kisi dhokhe mein thi....she knew how vile, cruel these people were but still she respects them...do their biddings, specially her toxic relationship with baa....its so problematic🤢

Though there can be no explanation about anupama's good behaviour towards baa and ladla but still if i try to even guess what could be the reason of her insanity then i come upon this-

In the last episode of prequel anupama just appears as dead from inside like she lost all hopes, reason to live, scared of dreaming again. Just like it happens with the patients of schizophrenia or multiple personality disorder that when pain becomes too much to bear then mind creats alternate reality as defence mechanism. More or less same thing happened with anupama. Her heart broke and she shut her eyes, denying to face harsh, terrifying reality. She created her alternate reality that everything was perfect in her household. She has best husband and in laws until trashraj himself shook her out of the misery by stooping even lower with kavya affair and all that and anupama was forced to face the truth...this also explains her mental breakdown after learning about his affair.

I watched the clip of AK visiting from the last episode.

This is what I gathered, the story is set 17yrs ago, means he knows he has lost his chance with Anu for a good 10yrs, knows she is married, but just went to meet/see her.

He has come to see her knowing that she is married, perhaps has kids in her 10 yrs of marriage. Knows that she is not going to be visiting US. He gets a glimpse of her smiling with her children. Feels sad, sheds tears, and leaves without meeting her. I dont understand why is he sad suddenly?

Sad because, she can never be his? What was he expecting?

Now, we are looking at his story from hindsight and know she is going to marry him. But at that point, why is he sad? Was he expecting something else?

I guess the prequel has left me with more questions and holes than helping close them.

Just because I like the actor, I couldnt feel sad seeing his tears, because the anguish in the story may not be justified. Happy to hear a good reasoning for this.
