Actually Indian culture mein common nahi hai but west mein naam se bulana Bohot common hai. Infact woh to mister and surname se bulaate hai.

Yes, but I've seen sometime male actors do not consider this and get very close with their female coactors..like I have seen in some earlier BTS videos or interviews where SP always has his hand around Rupali or is close to her that feels creepy to me.. and even otherwise when people are this close as friends, touching a bit is quite normal and Ig Rupali ma'am won't mind it as much but he's ways extra respectful and careful around her..probably my personal opinion or perspective 🤗
