Think of it like this. Source of entertainment is reason 8 billion are there in world its just a very small fraction of entire life and asia has highest population not europe or america where they can have source of entertainment before marriage.

I would say usa/uk culture has some faults too much individuality

Same way asia culture has faults too collectivism where people have to supress their desires for family and society

Both society are not happy

If survey happens asia will be most unhappy. Actually in happiness quotient india china all come very low in world. Asia as whole comes very low why? Because desire and individuality is suppressed. Parents supress it spouse supress it kids supress it in laws supress it. Yu cannot study subjects you choose in college only parents decide you cannot choose spouse parents decide you cannot choose not to have kids or when to have kids husband chooses etc People are not happy inside just living life like anupama did. That is why people have highest diabetic heart disease bp here because you have to supress all your desires swallow your pride and anger and live with people you hate or torture you like anupama did so far

This serial is all about doing whats right for you as indvidual forget family spouse kids in laws parents etc by anupama

Do you know why it has highest TRP because all asians see anupama story as their life story

Whether woman or man they are supressed in asia and they are all silent suffering for decades so they see themselves in anupama they see vanraj and baa and toshu in their family members

Thats why this serial is such a hit

And do you know why all love anuj because everyone wants anuj in their life but no one will get they know that. Thats why they love anuj so much as audience

why is it so hard for us to believe that there is good in this world ?

Maan fans are mature enough to understand and accept anuj's flaws. But there should be a valid and logical point. Just like we maan fans didn't like when anuj spoke between shah family drama, we didn't like when he hid about malvika from anu. So its not like we are blind but obviously we cant tolerate someone bashing anuj for illogical and weird reasons.

@bold i think you mentioned this in another thread earlier also and you got enough posts to make you see this from another angle. All were decent posts. No one tried to pick a fight but you mentioning it again and again just to make fun of anuj, a character who is loved by all... Then tell me who is being illogical here and who is provoking people to pick up fights.

You dont like a show or a character then dont watch it. Live and let live in peace.

Because its a selfish world

Everyone sees only their benefits and profits over family or relationships

Every relationship is friends with benefits family with benefits relatives with benefits neighbours with benefits colleagues with benefits etc

like i get that people scoff at anuj's character cuz they think its giving women false hope...but...no one is saying he's perfect. well im not at least. im sure if they get married they are gonna have the things that drive each other crazy like any other couple...but are we really truly saying that there arent people like anuj in this world? maybe people arent open about it, but there are many people out there who get married but are in love with other people, or who dont get married cuz its just never feels like that one person who was in their life. also, maybe seeing anuj's character, more men will want to step up to be like him and more women will seek men who treat them like queens.

Physical intimacy and feeling of love shouldn't be counted as one. Both are different and should also be seen in that way. True that love is first step and then it leads to physical expression of love ie physical intimacy. But it can be different also. Not alwayz with the person whom one loves. Aise to har kisi ko pyar life mein bas ek hi bar ho sakta hai aur agar wo choice galat nikalti hai to bhibuse zindagi bhar usi galat choice ke sath sadna chahiye kyunki she/he lost the virginity and now she/he doesn't deserve another chance at love. Ye illogical hi to hai na.

Aise to radha krishna ke pure love par bhi sawal uth jayega as kanha was never physically close to radha but radha is worshipped as his eternal lover. Dono ka prem mahaan hai. And if you go for lord ram's example, true that he was one woman man but even he was not perfect. Remember he abandoned sita when she needed him the most.... Actually lets leave it here. We shouldn't go in religious field by quoting examples as it may hurt people's sentiments and we are not some scholars to debate on that. I respect lord krishna and ram equally. Since childhood celebrated festivals related to them. They are Gods...leave them as it is. We are not enlightened enough to even debate on this.

People just ignore good things these days due to so much negativity surrounding them. They always tends to find faults. But they keep forgetting-
