Veteran actor Dharmendra, one of Hindi cinema’s most familiar and admired figures, passed away on Monday at 89. His death has left the film fraternity and fans grieving a loss that many describe as the end of a cinematic chapter. Hours after the news broke, Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed his condolences on X and reflected on the late actor’s long journey in Indian films.
