Anuj’s character and a preposterous analogy

Anuj and his so called love is something that I find very inappropriate and unrealistic . It is clearly a lousy attempt of trying to relate the ‘divine’ to something as cheap as plastic . Seems like they benightedly took inspiration from Krishna without caring to stop and think till which extent all this was relevant.

I hope free speech and opinion sharing isn’t hindered regardless of the fondness for some particular character, the very principle of an open forum .

While I can agree on the unrealism part, I would not go as far as calling Anuj flaky and fickle.

He has liked a woman for a long time but has made (failed) attempts to date other women whom he couldn't like as much. Even with Anupamaa, he has respected her consent and not constantly made attempts to woo her. This stuff is realistic as well as respectable.

But the point to prove which which Anuj has entered the show, is something I have a problem with. It has ended up proving a point for the (regressive) viewers, that a woman needs to always be in atleast one romantic relationship or dependent on someone. Whatever wrong with Anupamaa was fixed, it was by Anuj's efforts or money and was mostly never her own doing.

Additionally, I find Anuj to have zero sense of self-respect like Anupamaa does. Just as insults towards HasLee are triggers for Anupamaa, Anuj's triggers are insults towards GK and Anupamaa, but rarely towards himself.

Why is self-deprecation seen as a virtue is beyond my comprehension!!

I differ what's wrong if a woman has second chance in love its nothing wrong. She is just 44 and if true loves comes in her life she should embrace it.❤️

Regarding dependence pe bhi ep ep mein bataya tha Anupama said agar usne saath ko sahara bana liya to then babuji said sahare ki zarrorat sabko hoti hai but main thing is kisi relation mein reh kar apne app ko bhool jaana jaise usne Vanraaj ke saath reh kar kiya tha. Babuji said Anuj saath lekar chalne waalo mein se hai peeche chod kar chalne waalo mein se nahi.
