Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,

We have gathered her for Kinjal' s Funeral. Though physically she is still alive, it is her character which have been brutally assassinated.

Kinjal was a strong character. She stood for what is right. She was just a breath of fresh air when she was introduced. In this toxic household, she shone like a beacon of hope, of change, of happiness.

We expected her to change the views of the Shah but Alas! she was forced to change to be the ideal daughter-in-law.

Although she was not perfect from start. No one ever understood what the hell she saw in the spineless, manner-less, self-centered, crybaby Paritosh. We all thought that love was blind, perhaps, blind enough to not see the reality. She could not have seen how toxic he is, or how backwards and patriarchal his mindset is.

But we still loved her. She was adorable. She was the supportive daughter Anupama needed, which Pakhi couldn't have been for years. She was the voice of reason. She never took anyone's nonsense.

But no one could see the disease slowly affecting her....

She was slowly becoming a lamp. Her character growth was stumped for other's benefit. Her existence and her individuality all became sidelined. She is in a scene only to be shut upped .

Today her character officially died for me, after her reaction. She chose to stay in the same toxic house even after what she heard. Her small anger talk to her husband was way too weak. Almost as if she is throwing tantrums at her husband.

We all knew this was going to happen, but it not make it less painful.

Let's all pray we that the show end before Paritosh become the next Vanraj and Kinjal become the next Anupama.

Let's hold on. There seems to be a full on piece where he slanders him mom in kinjals presence.

He does that, then he's done for. If Kinjal sees the extent this Papa ka Bakth can Stoop then Kinjal will find no reason to stay with him.

A fitting eulogy for a character who held much promise 😒

It has indeed been saddening to witness her spine and spunk being whittled away to leave behind an insipid nonentity. The charm diminished to mere vapid niceness.

Oh well, such is life in the, as has been aptly coined, Tamashah household.

I was thinking of you when I watched today’s episode and now that SBB segment...

Not just KinTosh but I’m mourning the loss of Kinjal...the way she blended back in and started playing Anupama at the ghosla I said no thank you and RIP.

Her countering Toshu today was the least bit effective, just like Bapuji’s comments these days, though her lines were supposed to be aww- inpiring I just rolled my eyes and got on with it like I do with the rest of the non MaAn scenes.

I don’t really get why they need to be taken care of so much! Baa and Bapu-Ji both are physically able and can move…. Maybe limited mobility. But they can look after each other if they wanted, take control of their diet and medicines. Does it really require a member of the family running around asking if they have taken their medication, eaten etc it’s nice to have someone who cares and asks but don’t make it someone elses responsibility.

I sometimes think Indian dramas portray too much of a dependency culture that someone has to run around doing everything and that is expected from the bahus of the house….. your getting daughters when you marry your sons off…. Not an extension to your maid/servant! We talk about women empowerment how about old people empowerment?

We as a society celebrate dependence. Parents are proud in saying how much their kids love and respect and won't do a thing without their permission.

Similarly how well they are looked after is how much they are pampered.

Leela is fit to take medicines and dance, can learn to make Keto burger to help her son but we have never seen her cook on her own or do something for others.

The dependency relationship enables both to thrive. The torturer and the tortured.

@bold exactly what i think. What she saw in toshu. Chalo lets believe she didn't know about him earlier but when she met shah family she must have an idea about toshu's toxic nature then why didn't she break up with him. Now when she has seen with her own eyes how pathetic man toshu is, why she is not divorcing him.

I remember watching astitva movie starring tabu in lead role. In that movie namrata shirodkar was playing love interest of tabu's son. When she learns about toxic, hypocrite behavior of her boyfriend towards his own mother, she breaks engagement with him saying she can't even imagine her life with a spineless man who can't stand up for his own mother. I want kinjal to be like that.

Omg, this is exactly the same scene I was thinking of!

Kinjal deserves a better partner for sure. She should leave him, speak to her mom and get him thrown out of penthouse.

The problem is that in this show, somehow everything is tolerated untill infidelity, otherwise, no matter how toxic someone is, as long as they're faithful, all is forgiven.
