The episode begins Kavya emotionally blackmailing Vanraj to spend his birthday with him at the resort , away from his family.
She wants him to send Pakhi away for one or two days to stay with Anupama. Pakhi over hears this n feels hurt that she is rejected by both her parents .
At Shah house Kinjal convinces her family to let her go to resort for the scheduled business conference . Baa insists Kinjal take leave for the Pooja that has been arranged for Vanraj’s birthday . Kinjal states she was heading the project so it was all the more important she attended the conference . Baa feels if Kinjal was leaving so will Kavya , she feels Vanraj will be left all alone n he would surely come to Shah house to his mother on his birthday like always ..she smiles at herself.
Anupama feels Van might accompany Kavya to the resort.
KinTos have an argument over Kinjal not taking leave for Papa’s birthday . Kinjal reminds how everyone forgot Anupama’s birthday , how everyone ignored her sacrifices . She accuses them of having double standards for AnuVan
At Kavya’s house Pakhi over hears Kavya talking to her friend about Pakhi’s presence giving VanYa no privacy , how she was going to be present at Vanraj’s birthday celebrations too and spoil their fun. Pakhi feels heart broken . She weeps silently under her quilt .
at midnight Anupama is seen remembering last years birthday of Vanraj , n how she wished him fondly even though he muttered Kavya’s name in his sleep . She shakes herself to reality n still greets him n wishes him a happy life with Kavya .
At Kavya’s house She has prepared 3 cupcakes and asks Vanraj to blow out the candles n cut the cake , she shares them with Van . Van tries to wake up Pakhi but she pretends to be fast asleep in heart broken state. Van is surprised that Pakhi did not greet him at midnight on his birthday like always , Pakhi hears VanYa celebrate at midnight , she weeps quietly in her pillow feeling heart broken .
Baa calls Vanraj and greets him n has a long chat of his babyhood days fondly l she asks him to come over for Pooja . Van glances at Kavya but is unable to decline Baa.
Kavya gets annoyed that he failed to inform his family that he was going to the resort with Kavya .
Anu gets a call from Samar and both mother n son get emotional and both share their affection..she is upset that it would take him another 7-8 days to return.
