Maybe some man so weak enough to not use their hands serve their own food.🤔 This problem is very much present in India.

Not taking their own food, not putting the dish in the sink after you eat. That's some terrible manners. I have seen this in many houses and it's just sad that in the 21st century we are still struggling with such a basic thing.

The bad thing is many times women encourage this.

I see the drift nowadays, young boys and girls hardly care for household chores. Neither do mothers feed their children(not all. Some ) to make them dependent on home cooking . A cook/zomato are better / time saving and convenient options. There will a time ,I am sure ,when women like anupama will be valued more than anyone else😆 coz life always goes in full circle. In current times if we r getting these things we must consider ourselves lucky . Like..my mom is like that ...and I love her.

Vanraj will definetly miss the mollycoddling . Wish they gave more depth to the characters alon with showing such stereotypical issues.

👍🏼 IKR! Cooking is such a difficult task. If someone cooks for me, I consider them as gift from god! Those Kids need to value Anu more. A day in a kitchen will them see stars.

No one is crictizing kavya for making only pasta . In fact we are going to enjoy treatment given by kavya to vanraj

In fact we are going to enjoy Fight between kavya and vanra for whatever reason as j both has ruined anupama life otherwise it does not matter what kavya can cook or not

And also no one doubting kavya cant become wife if she can cook only pasta I f that is so then kavya can be crictizing for making only pasta in term of kavya and aniruddh relation ship too ( kavya is still legal Wife of aniruddh ) like kavya cannot become good wife to aniruddh because kavya Dont know cooking much but no one say such thing

Yes there is question . Why kavya is marrryiing vanraj who know to Fight for small small things

But this is a fact in this day and age and even out side the country with educated backgrounds. There are men like vanraj and was married to one for 18 years to a "highly educated " doctor from a "highly educated " family o still thought Dil needs to be the servant cook and everything but partner. So I am not surprised. In fact I hope this opens the eyes of several people living this sort of life...

I do hope they don't show these 2 - Anupama and vanraj - getting back together at no point in time. If they do then the makers have not understood what a woman goes through. I say this as I now work with several women still in and out of such marriages. It is shocking and you see it only after you come out of the marriage because people don't speak up /open up until you have stepped up.

If she is so concerned then why doesn't she do it herself. She can do it by sitting on a chair too.

Well in many families it is still the case. So it does not surprise me at all.

By problematic I meant hypocrisy. Not trouble.

Sad reality.

I saw such families too.

This is wrong in so many levels.

We need to come out out of the circle of "only woman will do house chores and man will work outside only".

I really hope the show focuses more on this issue and audience get the messege.

I think it will be the same scenario if men do chores and women go out and work. Like..someone HAS to do the chores , the husband the wife the mom or mil or cook / maid , anyone. We cant deny the importance of chores , it's good and healthy food that is most imp to lead a good life . That's what we take so much pains for. A neat clean home , good food , children constitute a happy family. With so many young girls refusing to live in the traditional joint family set up , n opting a baby sitter / helper for children, and zomato and parties for food , families are falling apart... We need to see that these things are very imp no matter who does it.

The problem is , whether its kavya or Anupama, their contribution in the lives of people around them that needs to be acknowledged. Since these services , cooking Tc of the family etc comes naturally and easily , men like vanraj dont value it.....responsibilities must be balanced . Independence must also be balanced. We need to teach our boys the same things we teach our girls. Along with career and studies , To do chores , cook , and keep the house tidy. We need to teach our girls the same.

Cant deny itv takes a stereotypical route. Kavya automatically disqualifies as a "perfect " wife material bec she cant cook etc . ..vanrajs expectations r laughable too...explains why he puts up with Anupama for so long . The most selfish egoistic arrogant and mean person.

Agree.. in my family we both are working and thus we share the household chores..

In time of Covid when we have decided to not keep maid and we have WFH.. We have decided our chores and share the load... only then can both of us can be productive in office as well...
