Maybe there is light at the end of the tunnel. The serial might be reaching the inevitable end and that could be the reason, another actor not being brought in, instead of Pooja.

BTW. I watched here the 20th episode . I mean the one where Shyam brings Abirami to the hosptial and his wife Uma dies. I noticed that he does not promise Abirami anything he just tells her that he would have to ask Uma and decide coz she is the mother. I was so relieved adhai paarthu. :) I somehow thought earlier that he had promised.

I think if Shyam hands over the baby to Abhi, it will be really a worst scenerio--almost like victory for the evil doers!

If it happens like that, we can only think that they want to find some way or other to extend this serial beyoond all possible limits.

Instead of killing Uma, they could have easily packed her off to Australia as planned before, which would have been less gruesome.

So well put, Ramya. Short and sweet. You could write that Dummy's Guide for How to Deal with Women. (Not manage, please; women don't need managing, thank you.) Wish Cheyar's boys read this. But, to be fair to ACD, he tried to speak to Priya at the funeral but wasn't allowed to. He also tried to speak to her when she had first returned after the funeral and took up residence with Shanthi. But Priya refused to listen and ACD got defensive as a result and started saying stupid things. Thereafter, the male ego surfaced.

I dont think ACD has a big male ego (may be I'm defending him too much), but I think he far toooo shy or may be he does want to display his vulnerable side. 😉 .

I don't know why, I feel something bad mite come out of the Shankar episode, i hafta wait another 20 minutes before I can find out. 😭 😭
