Anandham 1/19/08 Update. (Friday) Charu maam, be cool.

Recap of Abi and SKPD near the swimming pool. SKPD tells Abi that she is more intent on blaming him than saving him from the police. Abi tells him that the police and his enemies are waiting to trap and kill him. SKPD replies that, "I know how to save myself. All my enemies who wanted to kill me have gone to dust already."
Abi asks SKPD to go to the police and tell them the truth. SKPD is irritated and asks Abi to go away from there to some anjaneya temple. Abi tries once more to persuade him but SKPD dismisses her saying," nee pogalaamnu sollitten."
Abi leaves in disappointment. (appa, appa, sonna kekka maatteengalaa?)

Scene: Park. Some children are playing. One boy, Rocky is sitting alone with a paavam face. When his friend asks him to join everyone and play, he says,"varamaatten po. enakku pidikkalai." Girl asks him the reason and he says that amma has not come to see him. Girl defends amma saying she must have had some work. Rocky feels bad that work is more important then seeing them. Ding... Auto comes and there ..amma vandhuttaanga. All children cry in joy. Anitha comes with lots of bags with chocolates and goodies for the kids and distributes to them. She asks where Rocky is and walks towards him. She meets the warden on the way. Warden praises Anitha that she has come to see the kids inspite of her personal problems about Arjun hiding etc. Anitha says that she comes only once a week to see the children and it is not fair to punish them because of her worries. She says that visiting the children once a week is jujubee when compared to the warden's service to the children. She meets Rocky and convinces him with new clothes for his birthday. Rocky says he is not happy about everyone calling her amma. He wants her to be amma only for him. Anitha tells him that all kids are his brothers and sisters and so she is amma to all of them. She bribes that they can go out now for shopping and icecream. The boy is happy. (Wow, Anitha!! what a change from a disobedient, selfish sister, wife and dr-in-law).
At the shop, someone calls the name Arjun and Anitha is disturbed a little, thinking of her own hubby. 😭

ACD fans: Gear up.
Police jeep on the road. Charu is sitting on a couch and Prandhu, sorry, Priya is around. (Giri, I couldn't resist)
In comes our ACD in full uniform. (He doesn't remove his shoes outside).
Charu greets him and asks him what the matter is. Priya leaves. Not even glances exchanged between the couple. sigh.
ACD tells Charu that he has come for an enquiry and charu gets all worked up and gives indirect answers. Charu tells him that he knows who her daughter is, he has put her passport on hold, thus affecting her business but he wants info from her. ACD is surprised at her frustration and self pity. Charu says she treated him as a friend but he is hard hearted. ACd says the usual dialogue that he is only doing his duty. Charu replies back that he is good with words and uses duty as an excuse to offend people. Inspite of knowing all about her, he is suspecting her in a murder case. ACD says they suspect so many people in a murder case and elimiate one by one as the investigation progresses. ACD enquires about Sivaraman and Charu replies that she knows this much that he is dead.
ACD says, "kovathule kooda nalla joke panreenga, maam."Then he asks about SR's link to Joe and Charu replies that she knows nothing about his contacts. She always does things in the right and honest way and never had or has any contacts with people who do not abide by the law. She also reminds him how she fired SR once she knew about him. ACD tells Charu, "Control madam. Be cool naan appuram varen." Without even trying to look for Priya, he leaves.
(Sorry guys, no romance). chappu nu mudinjiruchi. 😡

Scene: Abi in her house walking in the garden.
A police car comes and ACD Shankar comes with 2 men and instructs them to watch Abi's house and arrest Arjun if he comes there. Abi comes out and thanks Shankar. Shankar asks her how SKPD is. She says,"nalla irukkaar."
Shankar tells her that it cannot be for long coz police are suspecting him of illegal activities and soon may arrest him. He adds that he is a periya manushan and doing nalla kaariyam. He tells Abi to ask SKPD to be careful.

RK uncle's house. Mama and Karthik on the dining table.
Shanthi: mama, innoru dosai?
Rk walks away and in comes Anitha and serves a dosa to Karthik.
RK mama aska Anitha,"What is your problem?"
Anitha: Don't you know what my problem is, appa? My husband is hiding and I don't know if he is safe but here we are eating and sleeping with no akkarai for him.
RK gets angry: Already your hubby has created probs for us coz he went in hiding. Do you want us to starve for his sake?
Shocking music. Shanthi with raised eyebrows and Karthik with a nonexpressive look and Anitha with an offended look. (dhrogi.....)
RK adds more fuel,"enna prachnai nu kettadhu arjun pathi ille. Why did you borrow 50k from Shanthi?
Again shocking music, Shanthi is betrayed. Anitha with a sutterikkum paarvai at shanthi.. Shanthi is very embarrassed.
Anitha replies: I have a valid reason for my need. You don't have to ask me. She walks away with great anger.
Shanthi to RK: (ivlo dhairiyam epdima vandhuchi?): mama, ayyo, enna prachnai nu pakkuvamaa kekka sonnaa, you questioned her like a criminal.
RK has had it. He yells: ellaarum ishtaththukku aadreenga. epdiyo ponga.
Karthik: Shanthi, what you did is very wrong. Why did you lend the money to Anitha in the first place and why did you tell appa about it? Already he has 1008 (what a number) problems and you are adding to it.
Shanthi: ayyo, apdi illainga. If mama asks she may discuss about her probs nu thaan sonnen.
Karthik is all defensive about his sister. My sister is not a spendthrift. She must have had a valid reason for spending that money. netrik kan thirappinum kutram kutrame. nee thappu pannitte, shanthi.
Shanthi with an almost azhuvaachi face. Freeze.
(How come Shanthi decided to take Anitha matter to RK mama? Usually she solves everything secretly or with Arjun's help. CR, ennaachunga?)

Roja apologizes profusely for her misdemeanor(??!!)
She forgot the switch of weeks between Giri and Vinu.
When Vinu asked about updating, gave a wrong info that
it is Giri's turn to do the update😳😳. Sorry Vinu, Giri and
aanandam fans - wanted to atone her sin and so did the
update for today ( another punishment for all of u) Vinu
will continue with her excellent updates from tomorrow.

Monday 21/1/08

Shadow is running .... You do not know that it is shadow
because the original shadow is too dark!!! A police car is
chasing him with sirens screaming ( they might be able to
catch the criminal if they did not make so much noise!!)
Arjun scales a wall and jumps in to a building. The policeman
stops there and prefers to go to the entrance of the
building than scaling the wall - the car speeds with blaring
sirens.

Inside the building - it is a dormitory and few boys are sleeping.
Anitha's adopted son Rocky wants to use the bath room and
wakes up his friend. His friend is not game and the boy goes
alone. He descends the stairs and Arjun is hiding there. Arjun
pulls the boy aside and engages in a conversation " ithu enna
hostel aa???" The boy first needs to know " neenga nallavara kettavaraa?" and then informs that it is an orphanage. Arjun
is wisdom personified " appo ungalukku appa amma lam illiya??
( Roja oru Merraim webster order pannu mma) The boy is
smart " oh no, my mom visits me on saturdays. I even have
a dad who is working elsewhere, I am yet to see him. But
tell me, are u good or bad? if good, why the police are after
u??" Arjun is saintly " now u thought me to be a thief illiya???
The same way the police are after me.. I am not the guy they
need" The boy is understanding. The police men interrogate
the watch man who vouches that not even a fly can enter or
get out with out his knowledge. The police guys leave and
Arjun wants to as well. Warns the boy that he should not tell
any one about this midnight rendezvous and the boy invites
Arjun for his B'day party, scheduled on 23rd!!!


Abiraami and Abiraami - another mid night conference. Outer
Abi is very confused. Seeks assistance from inner Abi .
" My heart is very heavy, pray why?" ( Abi, you remember
that josiyar talking about ATM!! - all your sins are demanding
justice now!! - Roja) But the inner Abi says that outer is
unhappy because of AC Shankar's enquiry on SKPD. Advises
outer to go to PP and ask her to unite Charu and SKPD.

Abi goes to PP and accuses her of procrastination - " u
should unite your son a nd DIL, some how, say what?"
(play cupid, may be??!!) PP puts her hands up saying that
uniting the Sun and the Moon is easier than this. Abi tells
her to arrange for CP's wedding " appo patha poojai kuu
they have to stand together, no escape".
PP laments about ACD refusing to marry Jammu but Abi is
unfazed - "mappillai is no problem, fish around and u will get
one" PP agrees and Abi invites herself for food.

Court - Arjus's bail case in progress - RK, Omni, Karthik,
Anitha, Narayan, Arjun's friend - all say "present sir" to the
judge. Arjun's lawyer talks about the great RK family and
its honor. Public prosecutor pleads that family honor does not
give the right to commit murder. Judge agrees. PP goes on to
say that if he is granted bail, inquiry can be disturbed. Arjun's
lawyer says that Arjun has no enmity with Sivaraman and is
ready to face the proceedings if granted bail. But judge is not
game. " Even though (?? verdict is given already??!!) he is
innocent, he has no business running away like this. He has to surrender and so no bail".

Clan leaves. RK fumes to Anitha saying that he has never
entered a court (??? pray, how did he donate the house to
Abi and where???) and all because of Arjun his honor is at
stake. Anitha defends hubby and ACD approaches them. For
his part, he fuels the fire saying that he feels bad to see RK
outside the court and if Arjun had not run away, things would
have been easier. He asserts that surrendering is the only
option and Anitha gives a shocked expression ( so whats new??)

01/22/07 Tuesday Update

Scene 1:

ACD comes to RK and Anita and tells them its very sad to see them infront of the court. We all know that Arjun didnt kill Sivaraman, becuase he escaped and hiding makes everyone to suspect. If he would not have escaped everything would work fine and he will get his bail also. Now the only solution is for Arjun to surrender. RK was telling I dont know why he is doing like that, if I can talk to him for 1 minute, I will explain the situation and make him surrender, but I dont know where he is. ACD ask RK to give an ad in the paper and asking him to surrender, the same ad we can give but it wont look good. Even this also I am telling you because of relationship. RK thanked ACD and telling him we appreciate your respect and relationship with our family, I will give the ad as you told. Kesav meet Arjun and telling him that your anticipary bail got rejected, what r u going to do now. The reason you was hiding from is to find Joe, but he got killed now your bail pettion also rejected, then why r u still hiding and running away from Police. Arjun got angry and yelling at Kesav and telling him so do u want to go and surrender and ask them hang me. Kesav was telling why r u thinking like this, as soon they arrest you they will hang you, our friend kumaravelu is the famous criminal lawyer, you go and surrender thru him and they will keep you in custody for 15 days, then we will get bail. He was shouting why do I have to go to Jain without making any mistake. Kesav was telling you used to guide others, so I cannot guide u, but because of you everybody is suffering, police keep coming and questioning all ur family members, even in our show room everyone talking about u only. Arjun asked Kesav to stop and he told I will make decision.

Scene 2:

Anita was sitting on the dinning table and crying. RK comes there and lot of unnecessary dialogues nothing important (why Arjun is doing like this etc...). Shanthi comes give the content for ad with the photo, RK says the content is ok, but no photo. She says ok. Then RK says to Anita that once Arjun surrender I will make sure that he will come out as nirabarathi. SKPD reads paper and ask about Kannu to servant, then kannu comes, SPKD telling that Arjun bail was rejected, and his case is strong, so I will be escaped. Now the only enemy is otha kai subramanian, we have to finish him also, now tell where you went and what is the matter. He shows one photo and told him that he is a collecter, good guy from CP and you can make him the collector chennai currently he is a collector in some village, then ACD will open the car for collector and salute. SKPD was happy and ask Kannuku to finalize the guy. At the JC office AC Shankar come and tell JC that Jamuna is not SKPD original daughter, someone send her for some purpose, that time AC Durai comes in and AC Shankar leaves. JC tells the same to ACD and tell him that we have to find some strong evidence to arrest SKPD and also alret Jamuna regarding this. We have to release Jamuna before ACD Shankar find the whole truth.

Scene 3:
SKPD comes to PP and tells her about the alliance and ask her permission to fix the marriage, but PP says ask Jamuna first and ask him to unite with Muthu lakshmi atleast during the marriage, he got angry and he left. PP was upset. Next scene Jamuna come to meet AC Durai and tells that u r not doing ur job properly, since it was all my plan we both in trouble if you wont find a strong evidence at the earliest. They may even take action against me (few dialougs about why she is not doing efficiently and also how he made this plan etc, sorry coulnt remember corectly). Jamunu says , I wont let that happen, I will come with strong evidence and meet u soon. ACD looks (freeze)

Wednesday 23/1/08 Episode no 1020

Abi's house - she is busy doing some thing with Nallan and the
private detective she engaged comes with an invitation. Abi is
happy that her find is progressing well in life. Sends Nallan inside
for a cup of tea and sees the invitation. The name "Secret Eyes Detective Agency" appeals to her and she comes straight to
business " where is that photo?" - Thiramai sali proves that he is capable after all " Please come and inaugurate my agency with a cheque for 1 lakh rs - as the remuneration for my first case and I
will give you the photo" - Abi exclaims" 1 Lakh??" But the agent
is quick to retort " oh SKPD will pay me 10 lakhs". Abi agrees
and he leaves. Abi has the last word " every body cashes the
opportunity, hmm"

Commissioner's office - C congrats ACD. Interpol has honored
Tamil Nadu police. ACD is slated to receive an award. DGP and
ACD will go to Geneva for the award. C wants SKPD nailed and soon... ACD and JC leave. ( needless to say that ACD was in the uniform
C's office ..)

Omni and baggage - the ad asking Arjun to surrender is in the
papers -Omni wants to know as to how Arjun will react seeing
the ad - " will he surrender??, will he call us??" ( Roja looks for
the crystal ball in the hands of baggage 😳) - baggage reads
Roja's mind " na enna vethilai le mai podara kodangi yaa?? u
are asking me as if I know every thing?" Unfazed omni asks
him to keep himself free(???!!, does he work??? news to me!!)
for court, case, advocate et al - Baggage surprises all of us
saying that he knows all that ( omni is sure loosing ground,
shadow is on his own.. baggage is thinking by himself... mmm)
Omni changes track saying that even Anitha is in the dark
" thought that she knew Arjun's whereabouts but she is also
in the dark... when she took the money, I thought that it was
for Arjun..." baggage is getting smarter (!!!!) " well u beat
around the bush and want to know what happened to the
money?? Be rest assured that she did not gobble up ice
creams with that money" ( hmmJoke vera!!) Anitha is listening
to all this and hides when baggage leaves his bed room.

Jammu hears ACD's voice asking her to look for evidence.
She gets up , checks that SKPD is fast asleep and goes down
to look for some keys. Goes around with a pen torch, opens
and closes a few draws, cupboards..... maid wakes up hearing
the noise.. Jammu says that she came in search of a book she
was reading and asks the maid to go to the store room and sleep....continues the search.

Keshav and Arjun - Keshav shows the ad and gives some sane
advise. "please surrender and face the case legally, every one
is suffering because of your action. You made things worse by escaping. Arjun talks about going to the prison will harm the
family honor - but Keshav is sensible " you did not murder,
u are just accused of murder, surrender and make it easy for
all, ok?" Leaves a thoughtful shadow...

Abi calls PP and questions about the steps she has taken to
unite SKPD and Charu. " Enna step edutheenga?" PP is smart
" hmm, kambu and kezhvaragu podalamm nnu irukken, what
say??" Abi is vexed and says that she is talking about CP's
marriage - PP promises to see Muthu and report the develop-
ments.- " when a 3rd person like u has so much interest, I am the
amma, won't I be more interested?" Puts the phone down and
Abi talks to herself - Hmm I am trying to unite my parents"
( mmm 3rd person aa?? naana? I am the legal heir for both
the empires, mind you , old lady - Roja the dialogue writer😳😳)
PP goes to meet Charu. Tells her that a third person is more
interested in CP's wedding but the parents are uninterested.
Wants Muthu to joinhands with sonny boy and settle CP -
Charu can not fathom PP -" u know every thing and still talk like
this??" PP goes on to say " to err is human and for the
sake of CP , you should rethink". Charu wants to know about
the 3rd person who is so keen about CP's well being and PP says "Abirami than" - Charuis thoughtful....

Thu Jan 24,2008 Episode no 1021

Arjun and his friend Kesavan walk into a lawyer's house; the lawyer is expecting them. Arjun says that he has come to him to avoid being jailed. Lawyer tells him not to worry, asks him to come to him the next morning and that they can all go in his car. Laywer adds that since Arjun was charged under Section 302, the police would be eagerly looking for him. However, when he surrenders to the court, the police can't arrest him. In court, the issue of the crime doesn't come into picture, just that he has been charged and he is surrendering. Arjun stresses that he is not guilty and the lawyer comforts him by saying that he doesn't believe him to be guilty! Kesavan asks the lawyer why not surrender to the police and the lawyer convinces them against it. He says that the police would never announce that the suspect had surrendered. Instead, the police would announce that they had captured the suspect and force him to confess to the crime.

Secret Eyes Detective Agency

Iyer is conducting pooja. Former policeman (SI?) who was Jammu's "dad" is also present; he is the Director of this agency. Abhirami shows up with a check for Rs 1 lakh and asks for SKPD-Jo photo. Jammu's former dad hides and Abhi does not see him. Abhi receives a cover and pauses while walking away, to show us the photo. 😉 Policeman is watching curiously!

White car drives up to the court. It pauses nearby while the lawyer watches 2 policemen in deep conversation near the steps. Lawyer tells Arjun that they will stop near the steps and they can get into the court as the cops are not watching out. As planned, they pull up near the steps and lawyer, Arjun and Kesavan casually walk into the court room. (And you thought Arjun was in the most wanted list with the whole Chennai police looking out for him. lol)

Judge walks in and calls for the first case which is Arjun's petition to surrender. Lawyer talks briefly and Arjun steps in front of the judge. Judge asks him why he had been in hiding and Arjun says something about being a businessman and that he was caught in the murder scene unintentionally. Laywer adds that Arjun apologizes to the court for having been in hiding and since the police are angry with him, that Arjun be granted judicial custody. Judge reads the petition and grants him judicial custody for 15 days.

Abhirami's white car pulls up at SKPD's house. Before she steps out of her car she picks up the photo cover and pulls out the photo again. (Indha kaalathu viewers ellam namba mudiyadu - oru photo paartha 2 minutes-la maranthudivaanga! Addhaan, Abhirami ungalkku ellam photo kaamikkaraanga.) Kanakku meets Abhi and when she asks where SKPD is, he says he has gone out and doesn't know where to. When Abhi asks when he would be back, Kanakku tells her hesitantly that he has no idea and that he can't ask Aiyya like she was asking him! He leaves and Abhi tries a number on her cell phone, only to receive a message that the phone is switched off. She then leaves. (Seri, yaarukku phone pannangannu guess panravarukku oru lollipop!)

Police Commisioner's office and JC, ACD and other officers are waiting. PC walks in and makes a brief statement on the award for ACD (on killing Jo).. blah blah. PC hands over something (rolled up certificate?) saying "Mr Durai, I am really proud of you." After PC leaves, other officers including JC and then AC Shankar congratulate ACD as they leave. Finally, Jammu shows up in a blue saree and hands over a boquet to ACD. (No dialogue) As they are talking and walking away, AC Shankar is watching with confusion. (Mara mandaikku innuvum puriya villai. Eppadithaan AC annaro ivar!)

SKPD returns home in his SUV. Kanakku meets him and tells him of Abhi having come earlier. He adds that PP's servant had called with the news that Abhi had told PP as she wanted SKPD to talk to Charu and get together for Jammu's wedding. SKPD gets mad at Abhi. He starts to call PP and Kanakku tells him that she had gone to the temple.

Abhi shows up again. SKPD questions her seriously about apologising to Charu. He reminds her of her dinner invitation where Charu was also present and that he can't trust her even for a dinner. Abhi is on the defensive and SKPD curtly informs her to not interfere in his affairs. Freeze. (If Abhi is speechless in front of anyone, that's SKPD! Paesaama kaiyila irukkira photo kaamikka vaendiyathu thaaney? OK .. more baklavaa to me.)

Abhi and SKPD conversation continuation. SKPD tells her since she habitually comes to his house, he is not telling her to stop coming anymore. Abhi apologizes for interfering in her personal affairs says she has come for a very important reason. She offers the envelope and asks him to look at the photo. He takes it in his hand and says, "Enna, mundhiyellam bayamuruthi bayamurithi padam kaamichitirundae, ippa padaththa kaamichi bayamuruthiyaa?" (Super line.) SKPD throws the envelope down without looking at the photo and tells her she can come to his house, but not come saying that she wants to do him good deeds. Abhi shows her pained look. She bends over and picks up the envelope and tears come in her eyes. (OK..just one tear drop in each eye - come on, its Abhi)

RK & family (except for Indu kutti) show up in jail to see Arjun. Jailor warns them that such a big group is usually not allowed, but he would make an exception but they can stay only for a short time. Arjun is brought over and he again explains to them why he went into hiding – to get the evidence against Jo but he was killed in an encounter. Pretty soon a jail attendant shows and says times up! RK tells Arjun that they will get him out soon.

Jammu returns to SKPD's home in a call taxi. She walks in to find a stern faced SKPD and AC Shankar. (Aamaam, intha Jamuna yaen ACS paththi JC yo ACD kitta officialla complain pannala?)Jamuna smiles at ACS and says "Vanakkam sir", but he doesn't respond. As she starts walking away, SKPD stops her and questions on where she had gone. She looks at ACS and then says she had gone to the Commisoners office. She had heard ACD had got a police award and had gone to give him a bouquet. SKPD is angry and asks her what is her relationship with ACD. She looks at ACS again and replies that since ACD had studied under her father's trust. Since he had received an international award, their trust will now get international recognition! She had therefore gone as a representative of the trust and her appa, i.e., SKPD. He is speechless briefly and Jamuna adds, "was I wrong?" SKPD bursts back, "yes, that was wrong". Since he had rejected marrying her and had insulted SKPD, who cared what award he had received. Jamuna has the answer to that. "Appa , that was a private matter between you and ACD. You did not aid him through the trust with the intention of proposing marriage to her, did you?" Right then ACD himself calls up (while on the road in his police jeep). SKPD is surprised and then same dialogue from ACD. Even though we have personal enmity, your wishes show you are a big man. I am forever in debt to you and your trust. SKPD laughs and praises him for achieving it through his own effort. Call ends and SKPD walks over to ACS. "Kannala pakkaradhum poi, kaadhaala ketkaradhum poi, theera visaarikkarudhu maei." SKPD leaves a surprised ACS and walks away with Jamuna.

Charu madam is dictating a letter to Priya and her phone rings. She doesn't want to answer it in case its her dad from Malaysia asking her to come and then she can't tell him that she doesn't have her passport, etc. Phone rings again and this time Priya picks up phone and hands it to Charu saying it might be something urgent. Its Charu's Aandaal achchi informing her that her dad has passed away and they are waiting for her. Charu is shocked.

RK and Shanti show up at Arjun's laywer's house. RK hands over a copy of the FIR. When RK asks him to relieve Arjun of the charges, lawyer goes into a spiel of the court being slow to resolve cases. He assures RK that he will get him out on bail very soon, adding that maybe the police will state that he is no longer a suspect during his bail hearing. (adarkkuthaana ACD irukkaaru.)

ACD is still on the road and his cell phone rings. He hesitates and then answers – its Charu. She asks for her passport and he denies it. Charu tells him to show humanity and then tells him of her "valarththu appa" having passed away in Malaysia. ACD expresses his condolences and says he will talk to JC. He asks her to write up a letter for the court. Charu dictates her letter to Priya.

SKPD shows up in JC's office and states that Charu's adoptive father had passed away in Malaysia and she wanted her passport. JC is sorry and says no problem. Since there is no suspicion against her in Sivaraman's murder case, they need not hold her passport. He asks ACD to get a letter for the court from her. That's when the ex-policeman (Jamuna's "dad") walks in. He introduces Rajadurai and states that together they had started Secret Eye Det Agency. JC congratulates him. Policeman states that Rajadurai has an important photo for them. He adds that before & after Sivaraman's murder, SKPD and Jo met and Rajadurai took a photo of that. He hands over the photo and JC looks at it and says "marvelous". He hands it to Durai who asks Rajadurai if he is willing to state that in court. Rajadurai agrees. Abhi hired Rajadurai to follow SKPD for his well being and that's when he took this photo. He adds that Abhi also has a copy of the photo after having paid for it. Update for Monday, 28 Jan 08: SKPD arrested; Jamu's role as CP over

A simple, straightforward update in the language I know best with just one line in Thamizh:

Scene 1. SI Jamuna aka CP steals again into the bedroom of heavy sleeper SKPD and spies within his cabinets. She finds a CD, returns to her room and listens to it. It's the recording by the fake Joe, who reveals quite a bit about the baddies. [The entire recording isn't played for the viewer, so we'll have to try to recall whether that Joe actually incriminated SKPD. Even if he did, will such a CD be admissible in court as evidence? It could have been made by any enemy of SKPD, right?] SKPD stirs when Jamuna manages to return the CD to its container. She slips out of the room quickly and hides, SKPD rises, walks about wondering what it was that he had heard, then returns to bed, unsuspecting that someone has spied against him.

Scene 2. Madhan and RK at home. Madhan announces that he will henceforth be taking complete control of Charu's business as she has left for Malaysia upon the death of her adoptive father. RK expresses sympathy, blah, blah. Asked about the cause of death, Madhan says the official version is heart attack but Charu suspects it may have been murder as people like Sivaraman and his fellow baddies had been harbouring grudges against her.

Scene 3. Muted dialogue between AC Shankar and some cop outside police office. Shankar then rides away in his car. Seconds later, Jamuna arrives in an auto.

Jamuna enters JC's office, where he is in discussion with ACD. ACD wonders why she has come at this hour, risking her being spotted by the suspicious AC Shankar. Jamuna says the coast is clear and then reports her finding. Muted dialogue about the contents of the CD. JC then instructs ACD to obtain a warrant and seize the CD and SKPD. More muted dialogues between JC and ACD. ACD promises to get the search warrant and advises Jamuna to be careful.

Scene 4. Sonorous music. ACD and JC arrive at SKPD's residence with search warrant. SKPD sarcastically asks Kanakku whether he has aranged for a dinner for the police as the entire force seems to have arrived. ACD explains that they have a search warrant and offers to show the latter what he has in his own home. The entire batallion enters the bedroom. ACD starts the search [hmm, looks like Jamuna didn't describe the exact spot where the CD was kept.] ACD keeps rummaging through the contents of SKPD's cupboards. Finally, he spots the CD case. [How can he be sure there was only one CD in the bedroom cupboard?] ACD tells SKPD the CD contains evidence that he had given refuge to an international terrorist. When SKPD shrugs off the "evidence", JC produces the photo of SKPD and the real Joe as additional evidence. "Www wa wa warrant irukka?" SKPD asks ACD with a nervous stutter. JC shows the arrest warrant. SKPD insists that ACD is trying to fix him for base personal motives. ACD says SKPD should willingly submit himself to travel to the police station in a jeep; "otherwise", he says, whipping out his gun and pointing it at SKPD's head, "you will head for the mortuary". At that point, ACD's revolver and a pair of handcuffs are shown dangling before a shocked SKPD. Then, SI Jamuna, in full uniform, dramatically materialises before him holding up the handcuffs. Freeze on SI Jamuna.

Scene starts with Jamuna coming (vaara vara vara doi lathi yoda vaara vara vara doi…) to arrest SKPD where ACD and JC are present with other constables. SKPD says Chinna peachi….imme. ACD china peachi illa sub inspector Jamuna (pootena kai vilangu jailukulle nee adangu…). SKPD is in full anger with Police esp. Jamuna. Kannakku is showing his anger in his face. SKPD says acting as my daughter you cheated me dhrogi (pacha dhrogi illa kaaki dhrogi, yenna jamuna police illa). Jamuna taking SKPD to polce jeep by holding his hand (yenna varaverppu appakku….). ACD orders two constables to present always in SKPD house and gives CD to his assistant to produce in court. All the jeep leaves SKPD house.

RK visits Abi in her house to request her to identify herself to Charu as she is leaving to Malaysia for cremation of her adopted father. He also adds that as per Madan's sentence Charu has to face difficulty with her father's will and her life. So he request her to identify before she leaves for 5 clock flight (athu seri chummave kaeka vendam, chumma irukara sanga oothi keadukathu ithu thaan…. Peasama yaaravadhu RK va pottu thallugappa rumba thollai thangala)

In front of court SKPD supporters are protesting against police (naadu oruputudum nalla). Walking…… walking…… nothing, walking towards court, for that only this much scene with back ground music. For committing a murder, planning for the same and act of terrorism judge orders to keep SKPD under court protection (Judge ku nadika innum aal kadaila pa so only voice) and permission granted for police to enquire him. Outside the court press people asks SKPD about the situation he says "police do not have courage to fight straight that's why they arrested me with after all one female" (athu seri pombala kittaye badsha palikala illa apparam yenna vetti paechu, pombalana yenna chumma va. SKPD ya arrest panninathu Jammuna Jail lu kulla unnn kummu kummuna Anandham mudhichu dhuna ……… Eljay bklava ready aa??) SKPD stared at ACD and Jamuna who was standing next to each other.

Abi goes to Charu to split the truth (amma amma yenathan aaruyire….. ) Charu did not accept her and says first one police women came now one criminal is coming as my daughter. Since you know that I am searching for my daughter you are cheating me. My daughter can not be criminal. Abi says you give me punishment for what all I have done (amma va illa police aa illa judge aa…. Master criminal of the serial na iva) but please accept the truth. In case if you are my daughter do not enter my house with this mother daughter relationship that is the punishment I am giving you. I am leaving to Malaysia for my adopted father's cremation. Relation means that not like you get out of my house and do not come back with daughter relationship. Once Abi leaves, Charu call ACD and wait for horse to split the truth. ACD hesitates and then gives the name Abi. Charu says instead having Abi as my daughter I would have lived happily lived by searching for unknown daughter. ACD says that is that I gave you hint already that your daughter is not worth enough to be yours. Screen freezes on Charu's unhappy face…..

Jan 30^th, 2008

SKPD is taken to police station for enquiry. He is not allowed to talk even with his lawyer (how come he SKPD is walking without any guilty, athunaala thaan criminal poola irukku). Abi is driving back home by thinking all the past sweet memories with Charu (amma inge vaa vaa yennai konjam paar paar paal vadiyum mugathai paarthu criminal yendrai neethu) and the last sentence by Charu "Do not enter my house with mother daughter relationship. If you are my daughter, I will feel bad and cry throughout my life" (Scene mudiyarthukulla Chennai la ore flood Abi car was floating). Abi reaches home. Rk calls and kuchalam vicharufies Abi. Abi cuts the line saying that she will call later and switch the TV to know about SKPD arrest by SI Jamuna's act. Immediately she starts to see SKPD.

Abi reaches police office and requests ACD to give permission to talk to SKPD for five minutes. He refused as SKPD has been arrest under act of terrorism (aiya aiya konjam karunai katnga yen aatha thaan yenna yethukala appachi kooda vaathu jail la serthu poodunga thunaikku iruken aiyaa aiyaa….) Next ACS turn. Abi requests him to help to see SKPD. He replies that if I say that I know SKPD or if I help his people it is equivalent to dig a ditch for me, so I can not do anything in this regard. Kanakku asks Abi what these 2 AC's said. Meanwhile Kanakku gets a call saying that Pechi paatti fainted after hearing news about SKPD. Abi is in full tears (inikku Abi ku aappu illa periya thooppu thaan mo, our tharava vaanginaa aappu, athuve palatharava vaanginaa thooppu, sontha dialogue illa sorry) and asks kanakku to take care of situation in jail (kanakku yennatha take care pannarthu, appa gold biskootu Anandham IF forum la yellarukkum rendu rendu pothum) and went to take care of PP.

In PP house, PP is blabbering about SKPD and his bad activities with half conscious (athu seri mayakkam potta kooda muzhusa pooda maatanga poola, I thought PP kku sangu nu illa pa waste seriyaa na javvu) Doctor comes and gives some prescription to Abi. Doctor asks Abi to take scan of PP once she gets up from sleep (ippa thaan therinjuthu paavi pasanga pattiya nimmathiya thooga kooda vida maatengaranga pa, aana scan yethukku. Scan na full bosy kuma yenna doctor ivaru, yethukku scan yentha partukku scan, see Dr ku padichaalum sukku marunthu kooda kuduka laayakku illatha doctor ivaru thaan pola) Again PP continues her blabbering.

All police officials ACD, JC, C, ACS and some more are watching video of SKPD meeting Joe ?(ithu yengerthu kadaichuthu, Joe va meet pannartha SKPD yeduthaara, yennda saami ithu, athu seri CR kku mudikara soodu vanthuduthu so logic questions ippidi thaan accept pannikanum). ACD says from the video it is clear that they both are having friendly conversation. Imme. ACS interfere to say how come you can comment like that without audio (ivaru yeppidi thaan AC aanaro, first criminals police aa thaan irukanum, ivaru thera maattaru) ACD says friendly does not meant that they both studied together etc.. Again ACS interfere, JC puts a full stop to ACS and asks ACD to explain. Now ACD asks the person who is playing the video to rewind and play it again. He gets ready to explain how he says friendly conversation between SKPD and Joe. Screen freezes…….
