Conjoint twins as far as I know are formed when a fertilized zygote does not split completely giving rise to two different individuals who are similar in every aspect like identical twins but due to incomplete separation, a part of their body is joined....

Twins who are not similar to each other, that is non identical twins are formed due to fertilization of two eggs released and hence, two zygotes are formed. Such twins can either be two girls, two boys or one boy and one girl...

Conjoined twins are necessarily identical twins.... So that means the rols of Amber and Dhara should have been played by the same actress... Because Amber and Dhara should have looked exactly the same... Like a double role...

But from what it appears to be... These two girls are being played by two different actresses which is scientifically impossible!! How on earth can two non identical twins be conjoint sharing an organ between them???

I fail to understand...

Is there any scientific explanation?? Or is this is a HUGE faux pas by the scriptwriters of Amber Dhara???

what you have found is correct but frankly they have already put a lot of hard work into it....
it would be practically impossible to find a Mary Kate and Ashley in India and in this case conjoint...
and of the required age and capable of acting..

so i guess they have taken this much of liberty and well they might not be identical but they do have similar facial structure atleast 😊

Ya I agree with u..but how can they find 2 exact looking people to play this role..Or how can they make one person play the roles of both the twins when they are conjoined

They have to take certain liberties while making a show..Its fiction...

yes i too agree with swordfishh..i had great expectations from this serial..after viewing ,i'm so disappointed ,conjoined twins shud be identical ,amber and dhara is not.
it cud have been double acting ..from a single person like in films.. 😉 it wud have given more sense.since we don't find a Mary Kate and Ashley in India.

they know what ever they script and broadcast..viewers r there to watch without asking any scientific explanation..i guess ..

yes even I am thinking abt it. Amber Dhara if cojoined twins , then they shud be look alike but this is not the case.

And they chud be seperated. Now a days even Liver Transplant is a possiblity. So .....

its true that they should be identical, but doing a double role for conjoined twins would be just too hard, and i guess they couldn't find two look-alikes to play the roles (although i dont think that would have been hard 😕 )
