That one line touched me like nothing else!! A housewife / mother turned secretary / ad- maker made her first presentation and came out with flying colors. And what is the first thing she does?? She hugs and kisses her kids' snapshot and says "Mamma did it!" She shares it with them in the best way that she can!
I don't know whose idea was that scene. But that person truly deserves a huge round of applause. And hats off to Sonali aka Shobha for bringing it across so naturally. Nothing OTT or contrived. Just plain cute and...nice.
So boss is claustrophobic too. Awesome. Reminds me once again of my Gaurav (Oh, no no no you are misunderstanding. Gaurav is the name of the protagonist of my next novel.) Liked their conversation there. Both are right from their POV. Which brings another thought into my grey matter. Despite the bone-chilling betrayal, Shobha is not disillusioned over the institution of marriage. She still smiles when she sees a couple in love. Wonder how!! Disillusionment and mistrust generally tend to follow in such situations. I am not saying she should shoot off her mouth like our Boss Man here but still..
And he didn't stay back in the lift. Opted for the stairs. Completely natural thing for a person suffering from claustrophobia and that reminds me of another thing. What happened to the guy who is always carrying the towels and disinfectant?? I thought Boss Man doesn't go anywhere without his precious cargo tagging along!!
