Here they are only feeling the emotions & not thinking(or overthinking) They allow their hearts to lead them here and the mind just follows without objecting.

It helps that Pranav & Jyoti have good chemistry & are good dancers!

I totally agree. We've been seeing more of Prem consciously or unconsciously struggling with his emotions but it was great to see Teja look almost startled when she was in his arms and everyone started clapping.

Even in the classroom scene it showed Prem struggling with his emotions again. He was deep in thought before she walked in and then when she spoke and stirred him out of his thoughts, his anger began to stir. I don't think he knows how to interpret his feelings especially when he is so extreme on both sides of love and hate. He was angry, frustrated and jealous when he pinned her to the wall but I never thought he was going to hit her. When he touched her face, that was his raw passionate side drawn to her even in the midst of his anger. Like you said before when talking about symbolism, he is that fire and burns hot whether in anger or love. 😉

I didn't think he was going to hit her at all, in fact I think he was going to kiss her😆 &hence the startled reaction from Teja, if you notice the stick her had, he caressed it down her face and then he lifted her chin up with the stick & then you see Teja's startled reaction & her pushing him off

Oh and I do hope they will allow them to kiss when the time comes. With all this heated passion building up, eventually, the kiss will feel like a desperate drink of water. Ah! Fire and water. There it is again!

I noticed on the Indian soaps that the characters don't kiss. They always come close but never quite a kiss so we may have to be prepared for an "almost" drink of water 😉. The rest we may have to indulge in our imagination.

Mainstream channels don't have people kissing especially if the show is airing before 10 pm but youth channels have aired with leads kissing. I had read an interview of Pranav before the show started where he said that if the show demanded it, he had no issues doing intimate scenes. But yeah I doubt we will get a kiss here , they will just pretend they are kissing😆

I'm habituated to romance which ends at passionate hugs and cheek/forehead kisses in hindi shows, I actually love that we don't have to feel ashamed to watch a hindi show with our family... if the actors and the dialogues are too good there's no need for even a hug and we still feel butterflies in our stomach like most people feel while watching Pak dramas.

I'm repulsive to unnecessary romance like the show on MTv which frustrated the hell outta me with its almost every episode being nothing else but passionate... its not like I don't like romance but the plot and acting are rather more important.

That is what I like about these soaps vs. the American ones. You know when they have an eye lock and the wind is blowing their hair, that it's a tender moment and you can see what they are feeling for each other. The American ones quite often have them half naked so that' s putting way too much out there unnecessarily.

I'm not familiar with Pak dramas or the MTV show but after a long time of showing us their journey to their true love, (like more than 3 years for Abhi & Pragya on Kumkum Bhagya) I would like to see the main characters of any show end it with a kiss. It kind of puts a closure to the story.

I dont care or not care about kissing, I don't see it as a big deal, people in love, kiss, its an expression of love,at the same time, I don't care if its not there. What I do get irritated is when people make a big deal out of it, the more you make it seem unseemly, the more people get titillated by it.
Amulya, if you are talking about KY2 on MTV, I will have to disagree there, I personally think it had one of the finest nuances of writing & romance in a show in addition to passion. The romance was organic & I still can watch the show like its new, even though the cast were a bunch of immature people.

Its so clear by your signature pics that you're a big fan of that show, I too watched it on but on my lappy when I can watch few other hindi shows on TV while my parents are still sitting beside me, by the way they're progressive enough as even other hindi shows show physical intimacy to a certain level...

Haha the siggy is kept not for the show but for the epithet I earned😆, I rarely keep any siggies or usernames of shows I watch & if I do, its not for more than a week.
