Maha , Swetal and others,

Do you think we should all go and contact editors of some indian newspapers like Times of India, Hindu.com, Hindustan times,Rediff.com to let them know what s going on is very wrong by ending this serial ?

We have to work harder and already we are spending so much time discussing . there is no much time left.

This is my suggestions , what do you all say ?

We should contact them once we have enough signatures on our petition... But we should definitely research and find out their contact information so that once we reach a certain number of signatures, we can send the petition to everyone...

Please all note the petition is on page 6 . I just checked it again.

Shabanam that is a good idea. I however forsee a problem in that newspapers are unlikely to take the news of a tv show coming to an end very seriously... they might treat the news as a joke or put it on the features page. but perhpas we could try it once.
Dont worry about their addresses... just use google search to go to their websites.... the websites will have sections called "Letters to the editor" and that is where we can leave a letter... i have frequently sent mails on various issues so know this procedure well.... also dont send them a lot of mails, just one will do... you dont want them to become so irritated that they end up providing negative coverage for the show.... the ones whose inbox we must flood are sandip sikand and shaheen... with shaheen its ok because as it is the entire orientation of mid day is towards entertainment, so thats their primary area of interest.
if you dont want to draft a new letter, you can use the ones that have posted on this forum. i'm sure no one will mind. all the best and keep us updated.
I request that no one else send letters to editors of newspapers, this one should be handled one at a time.

😊 I had this idea & I certainely worked on it..well..I decided to use all da e-mail addresses which I had in my Msn Messenger abt 41 I fink..& I signed the petition that way..using all the i.ds I had there & since they're all family/friends sho they won't mind 😳 So..I decided to share this wid everyone this way we can have LOTS of signatures on our petition cz..if we've abt more than a 1000 thts whn our request WILL actully Be taken in consideration cz 100s won't do guyz..! so lets Use this idea..I did hopefully U'll too! 😃
