CHAPTER - 4

Ananya was waiting in the airport with the kid for the police to confirm about the real identity of the boy.Akash too came there and asked,"Kya hua hotel nehi jaana?"She replied,"Vo captain,police to interrogate kar rahi hai na un logo ko,to main is bachche ko aise akele nehi chor sakti hu.That's why Iam waiting for the police."At that moment,the police arrived and the main officer replied,"Aapka shaq sahi tha Captain,ye log kidnappers hi the,bachche ko yaha se lekar ransome ki demand karte.Thora pyar se puchne par sab kuch ugal diya aur bachche ke ma baap ka number bhi humne le liya hai.Humne unhe inform kar diya hai aur vo log kal tak aa jaayenge,tab tak bachcha hamaare saath rahega."One lady constable tried to take the kid from Ananya but the boy didn't want to go.At last Ananya replied,"Officer if ou don't mind,bachche ko mere paas hi rehne dijiye.Vo bohot dara hua hai.I can take care of him and aap log chahe to protection provide kar sakte hai."Akash could not believe that Ananya was going to take care of an unknown kid.He said,"Are you mad first officer?Aap ek anjaan bachche ka khayaal kaise rakh sakti hai?Aapko pata hai isme bohot khatra hai.If anything happens to him you could be in trouble."Ananya replied,"Main is bachche ko handle kar sakti hu Captain and Iam confident about it."The police agreed and then Ananya left with the boy towards the hotel.

As the car for all the female members of the crew were full so Ananya could not go and was waiting for another car.Akash saw her from a distance and then asked the driver to stop the car in front of her.He asked,"Hey first officer tumhaari car kaha hai?"She replied,"Vo baaki ke crew ke vajah se car already full thi to isliye main ja nehi paayi."Akash said,"C'mon same hotel hai,saath mein chalenge get inside."Ananya replied,"No Captain!!I can manage."Akash closed his eyes in disappointment and then replied,"Oh God c'mon Miss Rawat!!Aap akeli nehi hai,ek bachcha bhi aapke saath hai aur ye jagah bhi nehi hai.Don't worry main aapko kha nehi jaaunga.Iam a pure gentleman,kamsekam bachche ke liye chaliye.You can't be so irresponsible towards that kid."Ananya looked at the child and then thought whatever Akash was telling was true.She just can't spend more time alone here with the kid.So,she accepted the proposal and got inside the car.While on their way,Ananya asked the boy,"Beta aapne apna naam to nehi bola to main kya keh kar bulaaungi aapko?"The boy slowly replied,"Ankit Verma."Akash was delighted and said,"Thank God!!Kamsekam aapne kuch bola to.Achcha batao to kaise un logo ne aapko pakra?"The boy replied,"Main school ke bahaar mummy ka intezaar kar raha tha.Phir ek uncle aaye aur kaha ke vo mujhe ghar chor denge aur unhone chocolate bhi di.Main unke saath chala gaya phir maine jab chocolate khaaya to mujhe bohot neend aayi phir kya hua nehi pata."Akash looked at Ananya and said,"Samajhme aaya??Us chocolate mein nashe ki dawaai milaayi gayi thi.Such horrible parents!!Hamesha bachcho ko aisi cheeze sikhani chahiye ke ghar ke bahaar kya karna hai aur kya nehi.Dekho bichara chota sa bachcha kya haalat hai iski.Isme iski kya galti hai?"Ananya cupped the face of the boy and replied,"Dekho beta,agli baar jab aap school jaao na,koi bhi stranger,matlab jinko aap jaante nehi ho,Aisa koi bhi agar aapko kuch bhi de ya kahe ke vo aapko ghar chor dega to unki baat kabhi nehi sunna.Unse kabhi kuch nehi lena,vo log bohot bad hote hai,aapko nuksaan pohchaayenge.Dekha na aap apne mummy papa se kitne dur aa gaye."The boy nodded his head politely and then said,"Aunty mujhe bhukh lagi hai."Ananya replied,"Ha hotel jaane ke baad main tumhaare liye kuch order kar dungi."Akash was watching how Ananya was taking care of the boy and he said,"You are right!!Aap kaafi achchi tarah se bachcho ka dhyaan rakh sakti hai."Ananya smiled and replied,"Meri ma kehti hai ke har larki mein ek mother instinct hota hai."Akash nodded his head and then by that time they reached the hotel.

At night,Ananya earlier decided that she would order room service but since Ankit was sitting all sad for the whole day so she decided to cheer him up and so she took him alongwith her to the restaurant to have dinner.She gave order for food and asked Ankit to have his choice of food.In a bit distance,Akash and Natasha were sitting and the nearby tables were occupied by the other crews.One of the airhostesses commented on her to Natasha,"See Natasha hamaari pehli female pilot,ek 4 saal ki bachchi ki ma bani bethi hai."Natasha too laughed at her and then replied,"Ya and she so looked like his mother.I mean...kisi ur ke bachche ki is tarah se responsibility lena..."Akash who was listening to their comments replied,"You know you guyz should be ashamed of.Ek to ye larki jiski vajah se actually mein ye bachcha aaj sahi salaamat hai,jisne iske kidnappers ko pakra kar hamaare airlines ki shaan baraai hai,bajaaye iske ke hum uspar proud feel kare aur is bachche ka khayaal rakhne mein uski madat kare,you people are cracking jokes at her.I mean c'mon!!"Natasha said,"Tum itna hyper kyu ho rahe ho Akash?Hum to bas aise hi bol rahe the.Ab tum hi bolo ye kaam to police ka hai na phir usko kya zarurat thi us bachche ki responsibility apne sar par lene ki?I mean agar kuch ho gaya to?"Akash nodded his head and replied,"Usko apne aap par bharosa hoga tabhi to vo ye sab kar rahi hogi na.Vo akele ek bachche ko sambhaal rahi hai,jiske saath uska koi rishta bhi nehi hai par phir bhi kitne achche se khayaal rakh rahi hai.Koi bhi insaan jiske dil mein achchai ho,vo natuarally itne chote bachche ko kho jaane par police ko nehi degi,vaise achch hi hua na ke ye uske paas hai.Pata nehi policewaale uska kaise dhyaan rakhte."Natasha replied,"Ye hamaari problem nehi hai Akash.I don't know why are you so sentimental."Akash gave a disgusting look to Natasha and said,"You know what Natasha,tum meri college ki friend ho par mujhe lagta hai ke aaj tak main shaayad tumhe jaan hi nehi saka."He got up from the table and walked towards Ananya's table with Natasha calling him from behind.

Akash reached upto the table and cleared his throat to gain attention of Ananya who was busy feeding Ankit.She looked upto him and asked,"Captain aap yaha?"He replied,"Ha maine dekha you are sitting alone with this handsome young man,so I felt a bit jealous and came to join you.Kya pata..."Akash gave a flirty smile and replied,"Ke kab hamaari ek lauti female pilot ka dil unke table ke saath saath occupied ho gaya to?Hum bichaare pilots ka kya hoga?"Ananya gave a What-do-you-mean' type of look to Akash and he replied,"I was just kidding.Actually main to Ankit se baat karne aaya tha.Mind if I join you?"Ananya replied,"No not at all!!"Seeing Akash joining Ananya,Natasha was jealous.Akash looked at the food and replied,"Ye kya ghaas poos kha rahi ho.Bachcha hai healthy shealthy khilaao."He ordered a fish curry and dal makhani for himself alongwith 3 rumali roti.Ananya was like boggled and shocked and she asked,"Don't mind captain kya aap akele itna sab khaayenge?"Akash replied,"Well apa to Punjabi hai,sanu dieting shieting nehi aandi hai.Ye figure maintain karna aur ye sab na aap larkiyo ka kaam hai,hamaara nehi.Hum to khaane ke liye jeete hai aur khaane ke liye marte hai."He was about to give something to Ankit but Ananya said,"Please captain chota hai pet vet kharaab ho gaya to problem ho jaayegi."Akash said,"First of all stop calling me captain here.Main aapka captain cockpit mein hu yaha nehi.Just call me Akash!!"Ananya replied,"Aap mere senior ho to mere liye captain hi thik hai."Akash made a face and asked,"Ankit beta aap ice cream khaaoge?"He looked meaningfully at Ananya and said,"Chocolate ice cream!!"She looked at him and as expected by Akash she was glaring at him.Ankit agreed and he ordered ice cream for both of them.He asked,"Miss Rawat aap kaunsa chocolate lena pasand karengi?"She just gave him a cold look.Three of them had chocolate ice cream.After having ice cream,when Ananya was leaving with Ankit,Akash said,"Chaliye main aap dono ko aapke room tak drop kar deta hu."Saying he held Ankit's one hand and Ankit held Ananya's hand and before Ananya could say anything,the manager stopped their way and shook hands with Akash and said,"Mr Saluja hume pata chala aaj aapke flight mein kya hua.We salute you jis tarah se aapne us bachche ko save kiya."Akash was about to say something when the manager's eyes fall on Ananya and Ankit and he said,"Oh hullo madam!!Mr Saluja mujhe nehi pata tha ke aap apni family ke saath aaye hai.Welcome to Goa Mrs Saluja."He patted Ankit's cheeks and said,"Aapka beta bohot cute hai."Ananya was like looking at the manager as if she was seeing some kind of alien in front of her and seeing the way she was looking at him,Akash turned his face to control his smile.Ananya replied,"Excuse me!!Main-""She is First Officer Miss Ananya Rawat aur ye vohi bachcha hai aur in fact isey Miss Rawat ne hi bachaya hai."Akash corrected and then looked at the manager.The manager apologized and replied,"Oh..Iam so sorry actually you reaaly look like a very beautiful couple."Ananya and Akash exchanged looks with each other with Akash forwarding a teasing smile.The manager praised Ananya for her heroic deed and then left from there.

Ananya and Akash's rooms were near to each other.While Ananya was entering her room with Ankit,Akash,from behind called her and said,"Main aapse ek baat kehna chahta tha."She stopped and then Akash said,"Uh...uswaqt jo manager ne kaha like...Mrs Saluja...maine socha ke Mrs Ananya Saluja,well it really sounds well.Aap kya kehti hai is baare mein?"He was returning a smile which can melt any girl's heart.But Ananya was Ananya and she replied,"Mujhe lagta hai...Captain...ke aapko abhi jaakar so jaana chahiye kyuki itni lambi flight ke vajah se shaayad aapka dimaag kuch zyaada hi thak gaya hai.Good night...Captain!!"Akash replied,"Main itna bhi bura nehi hu Miss Rawat."Ankit said,"Aunty uncle na bohot achche hai."Akash gave a winning smile to Ananya and she said to Ankit,"Ankit beta kal aapne mummy papa aa rahe hai na aap jaakar so jaao."She looked at Akash and then said,"Please aap bhi jaaiye."Saying she closed the door on his face.Akash,in a thinking mode asked,"Beta Akash kya ye larki teri ma ki bahu aur tere bachcho ki ma banne laayak hai?Thori akru hai...par...achchi hai.Mrs Akash Saluja...ahaaa!!"He laughed at himself and said,"C'mon Akash tu kabhi nehi sudhrega."He then left for his room.
