CHAPTER - 2

Out of tension,Ananya could not sleep properly last night and so she woke up very early.After taking bath,she got ready to depart for the airport.Her mother could easily notice the anxiety Ananya was having due to her first day at the job and so she said,"Ananya beta tu itna kyu ghabra rahi hai?Dekh har kisiko kahi na kahi se to shuruwat karni hi paregi na to kyu tension le rahi hai tu itna?Zyada tension legi to pehla hi din tera kharaab jaayega.Dar mat kuch nehi hoga.Haste huye ja aur haste huye waapas aa jaana."Ananya nodded her head with a smile.Everyone planned to accompany her upto the airport.After reaching the airport,everyone wished her best of luck for her first flight and Shefali pulled her to a side and said,"Koi agar handsome sa pilot mil jaaye to please apni is boreing si life ko thora interesting bana lena.Par phir bhi agar na pasand aaye to mere liye baat chala lena."Ananya nodded her head disappointedly and then left for inside after taking everyones blessings.While walking inside,in her mind,she said to herself,"God!!Pata nehi aaj ka pehla din kaisa jaayega.Maine suna hai ke main Inde Airlines ki first lady pilot hu aur sabko pata hai ek men centric jagah par ek larki ke liye apni khud ki pehchaan aur jagah banana kitna mushkil hai.Par main himmat nehi haarungi,main koshish zarur karungi aur tab tak karti rahungi jabtak ke mujhe kamyaabi nehi mil jaati."Ananya walked towards the pilot's reporting room and reported there.All were surprised to see a lady pilot in there and Ananya was was quite embarrassed and was feeling uneasy to find their curious and careless looks on her.After reporting,the man who handles the routine of the pilots,said,"Welcome First Officer Miss Rawat to Inde Airlines!!Well aaj aapki pehli flight hai,congratulations and best of luck for that.By the way,aaj aapke captain hai Mr Akash Saluja.Pehle pehle thore strict behave karenge but slowly you'll realize he's a gem of heart.So apni pehli flight ki tayyari karlo."Ananya nodded her head and then left from there to wait for his captain in the pilot's waiting room.

On the other side,Akash and Natasha were coming by Akash's car to the airport.Natasha was giving a touch to her makeup and Akash was only smiling at her.Natasha's eyes fall on him and she blushed thinking that he might be praising her with his eyes.She asked,"Aise kya dekh rahe ho mujhe?Makeup karte huye pehli baar dekha hai kya?"Akash replied,"Not really!!Actually main kuch aur soch raha tha."Natasha said,"Ya exactly main kal raat se dekh rahi hu tum bas hase ya muskuraaye ja rahe the purey rastey jabse hum mall se tumhaare ghar tak gaye.Baat kya hai?"Akash asked,"Tell Natasha kya kabhi tumne kisi bare ko bachcha bante huye dekha hai?"Natasha asked,"What rubbish!!Kya bakwaas hai ye?"He replied,"Well maine dekha hai.You know last night maine mall mein ek larki ko dekha,ek haath mein samosa aur ek haath mein chocolate liye.Vo chocolate uske haatho mein pighal raha tha aur vo apne haath aur ungliya ick karke chocolates kha rahi thi aur uske lips aur naak par chocolate lag gaya.She was looking damn cute that way and I just couldn't take my eyes off her."Natasha didn't like that Akash was talking about someone else and he was remembering another girl.She asked,"Was she beautiful?"He shook his shoulder and replied,"Itna dhyaan se nehi dekha,but ha she was very cute and her eyes...ya her eyes were very...very pretty."Akash was saying that in such a way as if he was dreaming about her and Natasha was so annoyed and said,"Itne dhyaan se nehi dekha tha hai na?Right!!"But Akash didn't pay any heed to that and since last night he could not forget Ananya for a single moment.Her cute face and her antics had sincerely captivated his heart.After parking the car,when they were walking towards the airport,Natasha asked,"Aaj to tumhaare saath koi nayi female rookie pilot hogi na?"Akash replied,"Ha suna hai aaj uski pehli flight hai,koi Ananya Rawat naam hai uska.Let's see kaisi pilot hoti hai vo."Natasha gave a smile of reluctance and said,"Kaisi hogi?Pilot aur vo bhi female.Huh!!"Akash was surprised seeing her attitude and said,"Itne bare airlines company mein join kiya hai to kuch to baat hogi na and being a woman how can you underestimate another woman Natasha?Iam sure she'll be a nice and expert pilot."Natasha asked,"Tumhe kaise pata?"Akash shook his shoulder and replied,"Common sense ki baat hai,Inde Airlines aise hi bina actual knowledge ke kisiko bhi as a pilot recruit nehi karta hai.You know na how strict the management is.You remember your interview day?"Natasha nodded her head and then excitedly said,"You know aaj meri duty tumhaare flight par hai,to hum ek saath jaayenge hotel mein.Okay?"Akash replied,"Ha ok sure!!"He went to report to the management.

After reporting,when Akash came to the pilot's waiting room,he was stunned to see Ananya sitting on a sofa.He asked,"Aap??"Ananya too was shocked on seeing him and exclaimed,"Aap??"On seeing her uniform,Akash guessed that she might be the new recruited female pilot and then he smiled at her and said,"Oh so you are the new recruited pilot and...fortunately my co-pilot for today...Miss...Chocolate girl!!"Ananya looked at him with a jerk and found he was smiling and was in a mood to tease her.All the pilots who were sitting there were quite surprised on seeing the way Akash called Ananya.She was hell embarrassed when all were giggling and so she gave a soft glare to Akash.Another pilot,Captain Shekhawat,asked,"Miss chocolate girl ye kaisa naam hai?"Akash looked at her and replied,"Nehi kal actually mall par ek larki mili thi,bohot sweet si pyaari si bachchi thi,jo na chocolate apni ungliya chaat kar khaati hai.Actually us bachchi ki shakal inse bohot milti julti hai."Ananya thought,"Meri ragging karna chahta hai ye par main isko ek bhi mauka nehi dungi."She immediately gave away her hand and then making a straight face said,"Good morning Captain Akash Saluja,Iam..."Akash shook hands with her and completed,"First Officer Ananya Rawat.I know!!Aakhir hamaare airlines ki pehli female pilot hai aap,aap to apne pehli flight se pehle hi yaha famous hai.I hope aapki zabaan ki tarah aap kaam mein bhi utna hi tez hai."Ananya gave a stern smile and said,"Ye to aajki flight land karne ke baad aapko pata chal hi jaayega and Iam sure aapko disappoint nehi hona parega..."She freed her hand from his grip and with an attitude said,"Captain!!"Everyone gave a round of applause to her and Akash looked at her with admiration.He said,"Attitude ha!!Let's see yehi attitude land hone ke baad kitna maintain hota hai."Ananya smiled and replied,"I assure you,it will!!By the way captain flight ka time ho raha hai.Chale?"Akash shook his head and then accompanied her.

While they were entering their flight,Natasha greeted Akash warmly but on seeing Ananya,her face went down and said,"Akash to ye hai tumhaari first officer..."She gave a low kind of attitude to Ananya and said,"Miss Ananya Rawat!!First female pilot of Inde Airlines!!"Ananya gave away her hand to Natasha but she didn't shook her hands with Ananya.Ananya replied,"Yes Iam First Officer Ananya Rawat,first female pilot,Miss...Natasha."Natasha was quite surprised and asked,"How do you know my name?"Ananya replied,"Jaise aapko mera naam pata hai."Natasha was confused.Ananya replied,"I think you didn't notice ke hamaare badge par hamaara naam likha hua hota hai Miss...Natasha."Natasha looked at her bade and was uncomfortable and Akash gave a teasing smile to Natasha and silently admired,Ananya's style of handling the situation.Ananya went inside the cockpit and then Natasha said,"Tumhaari ye co-pilot bari attitude dikha rahi hai."She made a face to Ananya and Akash replied,"Mera socho,mujhe to puri flight isi ke saath bitaani hai aur return flight bhi isike saath hai."Natasha felt so sad for Akash and said,"Oh poor you!!"Akash too made a fake sad face and then entered inside the cockpit.The moment he took his seat,he thought of creating some trouble for Ananya as a senior.He asked to check on to some important instructions,but to his surprise,she already completed everything alongwith the preparing of the check list.Akash was quite surprised and then said,"Wow!!Tumne pehle hi sab kuch complete kar liya.Thats good!!Bohot energy hai tumme,roz subhe chawanpraash khaati ho kya?"Ananya was highly annoyed the way Akash talked with her,but still she got a grip on herself and replied,"Captain...vo main rookie pilot hu na,kaam pehle din hi apne cabin crew ke saath gappe nehi haak sakti.Isiliye mujhe time mil gaya tha."Akash gave a naughty smile to her and then thought,"Har ball par six maar rahi ho First Officer!!Dam hai isme to.Bachkar rehna Akash beta,kahi isey out karne ke chakkar mein tum khud hi na clean bowled ho jaao."He called up the cabin crew to prepare for take off.
