Honestly despite how dysfunctional this marriage is.

It never fails to make me laugh...never seen two crazier people together, probably why I shipped them two (plus chemistry).

Coming back to this, I really don't mind if this show is totally ground-breaking and ends up with no Anuragini.

If she decides to move on with her life and they free each from this gun-point marriage it would be cool.

This marriage is quickly becoming even more so abusive/toxic.

No. AnuRagini will be the end game. and I won't accept anything less. coz Ragini isn't an ordinary girl. Anurag will realize this and love her. I am sure.

I know Toeragini is endgame but honestly at this point...im just done with him.

He'll have to do a lot to redeem himself and until then he is dead to me.

Can I ask why is everyone so sure Toeragini or rather Anuragini(he'll have to work really hard to become Anurag again) are the end game? I know Yukti and Ankit are the main leads but it doesn't always follow that their couple pair will wind up together in the end. I feel like there is a reason Shristi is hanging around them like a bad smell. This is a social drama and most social dramas have a lesson in them for protagonists and viewers alike. What if the aim is to show the wrongness of a zabbardasti marriage? That love doesn't always follow no matter how much you love someone if you force them into a relationship. I read somewhere that in this show Ragini was meant to learn what it really means to love and be beloved. She could equally learn this lesson even better if at the end of the day no matter how she tries to force Toerag to love her she fails and Anurag and Shristi wind up together in spite of everybody's best efforts to prevent them from doing so. Please understand I am playing devil's advocate here and encouraging debate. Personally I think Anurag and Shristi would be such an ill advised couple. Their life ambitions and thought processes are so similar they could be clones. Together there is no excitement, they are so bland. A lifetime is a long time and a lifetime of blandness sucks. There should always be that element of unpredictability which marriage to Ragini would always have.

Because on Indian TV, the couple that first marries is always endgame (except if the actor quits mid-show).

Genuinely can't think of a show that hasnt followed this rule and 98% of Serials have forced marriage to bring the couple together. Also cos the serial spent so much time on developing these two and Vishti, the ToeSrishti ship hasn't been sailing since their marriages to other people (except in Ragini's mind).

Srishti deserves better than TR so if it goes for a realistic and ground-breaking end, should end with all 3 moving on their lives from this ...dont care abt TR but Srishti and Ragini can either learn to be happy alone or find another guy (anyways this wont happen and is just a dream).

Ragini gave up on forcing him to love her already (not the hope he will but she's learnt nothing comes from force)...now she just wants him away from her. So that part of the deal is done, soon it's probably gonna be the loved in return part and anyways Serial Script changes a lot from its premise cos of the finite issue and trp/audience reaction.

A lot of serials say they have a social message now but very few execute it well or follow through.

^^I haven't been an avid watcher of Hindi serials for that long but in Jaana na dil se door the couple who got married first didn't stay together in spite of the fact that the guy was the best male character I have seen in serials hands down. Actually that probably accounts for why the viewership dropped so significantly after their relationship came to nowt. There is another one that I watched as a repeat on Rishtey Europe but I can't remember its name. There is a growing trend of eschewing that rule of first marriage is the end game of late.

I used to watch that show...it was so progressive until it felt apart and I left because girl was playing ping pong between both men.

When u say first married, do u mean with the new inspector guy or did she marry the guy she fell in love with first???

Basically endgame is usually with the male lead and there is only one male lead here but in-between, a lot of hindi serials show 5 marriages with girl ping-ponging between 2 men.

Even in Jaane Na Dil Se...the girl ended up with the male lead and not the parallel lead. The one she had most development with.

When I said married, I meant also the one they wanted to marry or fell in love with first (had there been more than friendship between Toerishti then there would have been a chance for them to get back together but they both moved on...TR told her to stay with his brother and she told him to move on with Raghu and in that scene there was no hard feelings between those two or even remembering their old past).

Anyways it's not like ToeRishti were in love, wasn't it like an arranged marriage they said yes to.

I did say there were rare shows that did the unthinkable tho.

I'm doing a bad job at explaining this but anyways its a given that the male and female lead end up together 98% of the time, the ones that we see the most development and scenes together in.
