If Romit really wanted to quit the show, they could have shown him as moving out instead of killing him for good.

Just like earlier assistant of KD Pathak - I guess her name is Niyati.

There was no need to kill Varun if Romit had to leave the show

Yeah like Niyati just moved on they could have shown Varun moving on, but maybe they did it for TRP. I'm sure the TRP shot through the roof for this weekend. 😆

I truly hope that the Varun dying sequence is only meant to help the TRPs. First off, I don't want Romit to leave the show. Secondly, Varun is the second best character of Adaalat after KD. He's been the "Loyal assistant" for such a long time. I don't see why the writers felt it was necessary to have Varun die if Romit was really going to quit the show. They could have (and probably would have) done something so much more interesting to get Varun out of the entire Adaalat plot sequence if Romit was really going to quit.

Basically, like most of you guys on this forum, I also really hope that Romit does not quit. 😳
