Yes..It is a war that is being fought now ...if lives lost in war was sin, then why were they called Veergati and accorded highest respect and the departed spirits were supposed to go straight to heavens ..
Ashoka changed his philosophy yes AFTER consolidating his empire .. what I would have loved to see is what would have been Ashoka's stance had there been a strong King who could have taken on Ashoka..would Ashoka still have preached Peace ??
Sha is indeed waging a battle ..
what is Crime ??
At times of war..Lifes are taken...is it sin ??

Well I just gave Ashoka from History as an example Sathya, I would like to know what war is she waging and why is it against innocent children?

Well to a point I do agree Sharmi, One man's food is another man's poison. But still I do not advocate the kind of war she is waging killing innocent children. They do say the sins of the parents will come to the children. And I was touching that topic. It would not mean that the baby is going to die but she may be held hostage.

I don't advocate any type of war...Anu...but sometimes u have too...
today my life is simple...with a hubby and a child...one day if this is threatened...if my loved ones are hurt...then my stance might change...I would want them punished...
If I was in that situation and if i choose to forgive them...then that may bring a pull stop...
But my decision to punish or forgive depends on my mentality, my situation, my emotions, my ability to justify whats right and wrong...and who influences me to do what...
its true the deeds of the parents falls on the kids...The day Sha realises that the mission will take a back seat...

Sathya,
Was not the bombs to kill innocent children? She also is a mother and was so distressed when the child fell down from the bed. Her husband can have any last wish, but one has to see if it is correct or not. As a mother how will she feel if her child was killed by some bomb. The same anguish all the other parents will be feeling. I do not believe in this fulfilling of the last wish of her husband.
I was going to be a silent stalker and you pulled me out into the open.
