I think I should first appreciate the choice of the lead pair. It becomes repetitive to say Smriti and Neil are fabulous actors in their own ways. The characters fit them to a T. In fact the absolute on screen chemistry shared by them is awesome. More so, both the characters have to convey a lot through their eyes since the ambience and environment is that of a middle class background where guys and gals don't actually get to talk that often. Eyes do speak volumes and the reason I get more attracted, in fact I should say I am obsessed with this story is due to their emoting thru their eyes. Let me first discuss Simi's emotions through her eyes. In fact almost all these scenes mentioned here, there are no dialogues for Simi. I feel her eyes conveyed these queries and emotions.

When she finds RB leaching at women, her eyes showed her hopes shattering

Her eyes showed fear of the inevitable when RB forces himself on her.

Her blank eyes revealed her pain as she relived the incident when Abhi is giving her the first aid for her bleeding feet.

Her surprise at the stranger Abhi helping her out with just one question'Boyfriend???!!! and no more queries beyond that.

Her anger at RB when she confronts him saying don't force me to act smart'shall let you know outside KB police station.

Her first gazing into Abhi's eyes at Qutb Minar as he pleads talk to someone at home.

Her eyes spoke every other sentence not spoken to Abhi in the episode saying don't disclose anything about RB when Abhi first comes home and his khatirdari is done by Nitu and Mili.

Her eyes asked one question to Abhi when he drops her back with Mehendi in her hand'Cant anything be done anymore?

When she looks up at Abhi in her bridal attire and he is just so astounded at her beauty, her eyes spoke to him saying don't look at me that way. I am helpless and have no option out as there is so much at stake.

When she bunked class and went around, her eyes were brimming with happiness

When she talks about him to Mili and finds him standing there, her relief was best conveyed when he says I din hear properly.

Her eyes was full of expectation and her eyes revealed her racing pulse each time she found Abhi with that incinerating look (as mentioned earlier somewhere in this thread), each time he came close to her, as he held her steadying her fall, and while she was listening to him speak his heart while he gave her those flowers.

Her eyes showed her coming to terms with the dejection at his request for being his best friend for life.

Do I need to mention her mixed emotions when she hears the long expected 'I love you" from Abhi.

Following confession, when Abhi walks towards her with open arms, her eyes says'Hey no'What are you up to'.Dads behind please.

During that Aarti scene when he silently holds her hand, her eyes do say'Please let me go. Take off your hands please. Someone will see.

There were no dialogues at the park when Abhi accuses her of showing interest in Nakul. Her eyes just asked how you said that to me after knowing me very well.

The most brilliant scene ever was the kitchen scene late night. Her eyes dropped as she was too shy of him in that closeness.

When he brings home Nakul, he says Dilwale Dulhan Lekar hi Jaayenge, there is so much admiration in her eyes for him. He even asks her .'Ab mujhe hi dekhogi?? Ya..??

In the latest episodes, her expression is too cute when Abhi reminds her of her age and not able to run, when he says Bye Simiji!!, her eyes have that naughty look at him.

I have been doing this homework, for past 2 days to post this. I have created one for Abhi also. No time to type it tonight. I am in the middle of preparing a PPT for tomorrow's lab presentation. So excuse me if I have left out any favourite scenes others like. This is just my opinion. Suggestions and replies are welcome if anyone agrees with me.

This is reminiscing all the awesome expressions from Abhi.

I should say his eyes emoting is simply superb, yet I would give more credit to his expressions which is fantabulous.

The first time he sees Simi at the temple, he is taken aback by the simplicity and innocence in her face. His expressions that I read in them says "so cute this girl is. What she must be praying for?"

The second time they meet, he asks her for directions. She explains so much that he is confused by the end. He just thanks her saying'Great!! You made my day. I followed all that you said.

The third encounter is when she escapes RBs clutches. His eyes showed surprise asking her'You? Are you okay? His anxiety at seeing her condition, his shock at the slap he gets from Simi. But his eyes showed his acceptance saying never mind I understand your plight. When she falls on his shoulder crying, his expression is great as to what should I do now? His hesitation to hold her was clear not knowing how she may react, yet he treats her civil by asking her to relax.

His genuine concern was obvious the way he attends to her bleeding feet. Just one question from him..BF??!!. His expression of resent and disbelief is wonderful when she says "mangetar" /Fiancee. Just the two words and the whole story is narrated between them

When they meet at Qutb Minar, she messes up his hair and he seriously tells her never do this. You know how long it takes to set this.

His utter surprise at finding Simi in his sister's in law's house. His eyes were full of admiration of Simi as a person when all sibs discuss about her. This is were he understands Simi's emoting through eyes requesting don't disclose about RB

His eyes literally lit up and he is spell bound when he sees her in that bridal attire. His eyes spoke at length pleading with her " Don't go. Don't ruin your life please. Please understand.

When Simi asks him you must have really considered the consequences of suggesting your sister to flee home, his expression was spontaneous as to saying 'Not really.

His eyes were full of love when he sees Simi enjoying Paaanipuri with no inhibitions

When he drops her back home after raoming out the whole day, he reminds her responsibility by mistake and quickly eases the situation saying'Sorry Mam don't add remarks in my calendar'i cant get it signed from dad.

His eyes showed his genuine interest in her at AA wedding. He just kept glaring at her. That's exactly how a new person in love has his eyes set on his ladylove.

His preparation for his probable proposing to Simi was great. He is surprised at his own self'Saying Simiji'Oh whats wrong with me now'.

His inability to start his long practiced speech in front of Simi was too good. He is totally speechless wondering where and how to start.

His interaction with Guruji was too fabulous. It showed a person very much in love and yet his concern as to what do I offer her' mai uske kaabil hoon bhi ya nahi in that he is younger to her by several years, still studying, no job no house'then in which way do I tell her?

His over the phone confession of his love was too good. He admits he wanted to say something but his spontaneous answer "I love you Simi" to her question of what do you want to listen from me was extraordinary. The relief at confessing his love and his genuine tears for not saying earlier was too good.

His expression when Nakul runs his hand thru his hair was...Hello'I am not a kid anymore. The same place he says "Poochke aata hoon" to Nakul's query if Simi is actually Simran shortened. His expression and his eyes spoke at length about his surprise that ..Yeah I don't even know your actual name when you are the love of my life.

When RS asks his comments about Nakul, I should say his acting was simply superb. Him closing his eyes just before giving his answer was great in the sense'I don't want to speak the truth now. No one will understand me.

His genuine pang of jealousy was seen at the park when he irritates her. It was just an insecure person in fear of losing his love to an established youngster who would be able to give her a good life.

His sincere sorry was great after taking a big risk to meet her. His love for her was established once more when he gives away the bell to her which he mentions as having with him from 7^th standard that some sister Maria gave him. Parting with something so close to your heart happens only with people who are part of your life.

His accomplishment at fooling Nakul showing someone else's pictures were extremely good. His expression was jus great when he feels triumphant at adding chilli seeds to halwa.

His question of "Want to say something to me?" was good when Simi brings his dinner.

His spontaneity was good when he hugs her close and comforts her when she breaks down crying saying I help people around but things always worsen.

His stern gaze at his sister was great when he says "tumhare sar se be ooncha ho chuka hoon" Don't mess around my things without my permission.. I have grown up.

Yesterdays episode was good as a lover he admits I can't wait till Saturday, Shall I come over right now?
