Yuzvendra Chahal-Dhanashree Verma Divorce: Not Rs 60 Crore, But THIS Much Alimony Finalised

Cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal and choreographer Dhanashree Verma Chahal, who got married in 2020, have been living separately for nearly a year. Reports confirm that Chahal has agreed to pay Rs 4.75 crore as alimony to Dhanashree.

According to Bar and Bench, as per the consent terms, Chahal has already paid Rs 2.37 crore to Dhanashree. The remaining amount is yet to be paid, and the family court took note of the delay. However, the divorce proceedings are set to conclude soon.

Previously, there were widespread reports that Dhanashree was demanding Rs 60 crore as alimony. However, her family dismissed these claims as false. A member of the Verma family issued a statement clarifying that no such demand was ever made.

The family expressed their disappointment regarding the misinformation and urged people not to spread false narratives. A representative from Dhanashree’s family released a strong statement, condemning the baseless claims. “We are deeply outraged by the baseless claims being circulated about the alimony figure. Let me be absolutely clear—no such amount has ever been asked, demanded, or even offered. There is no truth to these rumours whatsoever. It is deeply irresponsible to publish such unverified information, dragging not just the parties but also their families into unnecessary speculation. Reckless reporting like this only causes harm, and we urge the media to exercise restraint and fact-check before spreading misinformation and also be respectful towards everyone’s privacy," the statement read.

Yuzvendra Chahal and Dhanashree Verma’s divorce will be legally finalized tomorrow, March 20. The couple, who were once adored for their social media posts together, have now chosen to part ways officially. Fans have reacted emotionally to the news, but both Chahal and Dhanashree have remained silent about their personal lives.
