Prince Narula and Yuvika Chaudhary may be basking in the joy of parenthood today, but the road to welcoming their first child in 2024 came with emotional turbulence — starting with a chilling remark from a doctor that left Yuvika shaken.

In a recent appearance on Nayandeep Rakshit’s podcast, the actress opened up about her decision to undergo IVF and how it wasn’t born out of long-term planning, but sheer fear. While exploring egg freezing options due to constant scheduling conflicts during her ovulation window, Yuvika said she was blindsided during a doctor’s visit. “I visited a doctor and she scared me and said, ‘You can’t have babies’. She must have thought that she can make some business from me,” the actress revealed.

That single comment triggered immediate panic. Feeling cornered by the grim prognosis, Yuvika rushed home and urged Prince to take a leap of faith — to try for a child without delay. “I panicked and asked Prince to plan a child right now, I thought my cycle is late,” she said, recalling the anxiety that set in.

She decided to begin the egg freezing procedure, but the hospital’s formalities brought with them more fear than reassurance. “They took signatures that after anesthesia, we don’t take guarantee if you will wake up normal or not. Because I was weak, Prince asked to cancel, he said I am more important to him than having a baby,” she added.

That moment of pause became a turning point. The couple chose to seek a second opinion — a decision that not only changed the course of their parenthood plans but also gave Yuvika back her self-belief. “The doctor boosted my confidence to try for a baby and get my eggs frozen. I told my doctor that this is my first and last trial. They put so many injections during this process,” she recalled.

Even as she continued to try conceiving naturally, fate seemed to play tricks on them “I would try naturally as well, but maybe it was a nazar thing that whenever it was our ovulation period, one of us had to travel,” she admitted.

Despite the setbacks, the IVF attempt proved successful on the first try. It was Prince who read the test reports and delivered the life-changing news. “He was crying. I was numb. We were overjoyed,” she said.
