Varun Dhawan has amassed a following among the general public and families over the years thanks to his roles in comedies and romcoms like Main Tera Hero, Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, Badrinath Ki Dulhania, Judwaa 2, and Coolie No. 1. And it appears that the actor will return to that arena shortly. Recently, it was disclosed that Varun Dhawan is in talks for an overtly humorous comedy with popular director Anees Bazmee.
A report states that, Varun and Anees have been preparing for a potential partnership for some time, and things are now finally moving forward. They just got together and spoke about working together on a comic caper. Following the completion of their current obligations, they will begin work on the film. Despite never having collaborated on a project together before, Varun and Anees have a strong bond.
Anees has written the scripts for more than 15 David Dhawan movies, and he is now eager to make his first project with Varun stand out. Even Varun, who has appeared in David Dhawan comedy, is looking forward to the movie because it will introduce him to a new universe of humour. The comedy adventure should begin production by the end of next year, the insider continued. Anees will soon begin putting his many ideas which fit Varun's personality into practise, concluded the report.
The director's upcoming project will be the No Entry sequel from 2005, starring Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, and Fardeen Khan.
Anees Bazmee's last directorial Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 broke all the box office records and was a massive hit. Meanwhile Varun's film JugJugg Jeeyo is currenetly running in the theatres and is doing quite well.
