It wasn’t my time to go. Maybe I’m meant to do a few more good films, have some more nice times with family and friends. Do some more charity

Saif also discussed the increased security measures implemented at his home following the incident. He emphasized the importance of taking precautions, advising everyone to lock their doors and remain vigilant.

Expressing gratitude for his recovery, Saif emphasized the importance of safety and security. He believes that everyone should take precautions, such as locking doors and securing access points. While he's always been known for his approachable nature and lack of personal security, the incident has forced him to re-evaluate his approach. He finds the situation unfortunate as he's never been comfortable with constant security and prefers to avoid being surrounded by people.

But now it needs to be there, for a while at least. “Just make sure you’re damn good. Work hard and hopefully the world will appreciate it,” the Bunty Aur Babli 2 actor concluded.

Professionally, Saif Ali Khan is currently promoting his upcoming heist action thriller film, Jewel Thief - The Heist Begins. The Netflix movie is scheduled for release on April 25, 2025.
