Priyanka Chopra and Parineeti Chopra to Star Together? Madhu Chopra Breaks Silence

Priyanka Chopra and Parineeti Chopra have made their mark in Bollywood with their outstanding performances. However, despite being cousins, they have never worked together in a film. In a recent interview, Priyanka’s mother, Madhu Chopra, reacted to the possibility of their collaboration and expressed her wish for it to happen.

During a conversation with Lehren Retro, Madhu Chopra was asked if Parineeti faced any challenges from the family when she decided to join Bollywood. She clarified that the family was fully supportive, especially after Priyanka set an example. “Once Priyanka came, it was like a world opening up," she shared. She added that their family has always embraced Parineeti’s acting career with open arms.

Madhu also spoke about the special connection between the Chopra sisters and Bollywood, suggesting that destiny plays a role in their journey. “There is some sort of magnet between them and the film industry,” she remarked. She also praised Parineeti’s acting skills, calling her a ‘director’s geeli matti’—a natural performer who can mold herself into any character with ease.

When asked about Priyanka and Parineeti collaborating on a movie, Madhu Chopra responded with excitement, this statement has left fans eager to see if the Chopra sisters will finally share the screen.

On the personal front, Priyanka Chopra attended her brother Siddharth Chopra’s wedding in February 2025, accompanied by her husband, Nick Jonas, and their daughter, Malti Marie. Parineeti Chopra also joined the celebrations with her husband, politician Raghav Chadha.

On the work front, Priyanka has started filming SS Rajamouli’s jungle adventure alongside Mahesh Babu in Hyderabad. Meanwhile, Parineeti is set to make her OTT debut with a Netflix mystery thriller. Starring alongside Soni Razdan, Jennifer Winget, and Tahir Raj Bhasin, she teased the project with a cryptic message: “Some mysteries don’t just unfold – they pull you in, keep you guessing, and refuse to let go."
