Kareena's Takht character Finally revealed!

Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor Khan is finally making her comeback after her pregnancy. The actress has been roped in several projects and she will be seen in Good Newwz, Laal Singh Chaddha followed by Takht.

Bebo is known to offer her best and she does not wither from performing challenging characters. Now that the fans have already received a gist of her characters. Currently, Kareena Kapoor Khan is busy with the promotions of Good Newwz co-starring Akshay Kumar, Kiara Advani and Diljit Dosanjh.

The 39-year-old actor will start shooting for Karan Johar’s Takht after Good Newwz and she has finally opened up about her role in the film as she said she is playing Jahanara’s character in Takht. 

Kareena said that in the Mughal history, Jahanara Begam was the most important woman in the court and she was actually the main reason as to why everything took place. Pinkvilla quoted her saying:

Us samay Shahjahan ne har decision Jahanara se puch kar liya tha. Jahanara was the daughter of Shahjahan and she was his favourite daughter. I am very excited to play that part.

Also, this Chameli actress revealed that the shooting of Takht will start in April and a major portion of the sets are being constructed in Filmcity. 

The film is a periodic drama that is being directed by Karan Johar which stars Alia Bhatt, Ranveer Singh, Vicky Kaushal, Janhvi Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar and Anil Kapoor. 

Apart from Takht, Kareena will also be seen in Homi Adajania’s Angrezi Medium starring Irrfan Khan and Bebo will be seen playing the role of a cop named Naina.
