Sunjay Kapur Prayer Meet: Karisma Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan walk in; actress protects Kiaan - WATCH

The prayer meet of Sunjay Kapur is happening now in Delhi. Karisma Kapoor, Samaira Kapoor, Kiaan Raj Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan flew down to Delhi from the private Kalina airport today. They headed straight for the prayer meet, which has been held at the Durbar Hall of Hotel Taj in Delhi. Sunjay Kapur, the CMD of Sona Comstar died on the same day of the tragic Ahmedabad Plane Crash that took lives of 242 passengers and close to 80 medical professionals. He was playing a polo match in London when he swallowed a bee. That choked his windpipe and he collapsed soon after. Efforts made to revive him failed much to the dismay of all.

Karisma Kapoor, Kiaan Raj Kapoor, Samaira Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan left together for the prayer meet. We can see that Karisma had her arm around Kiaan. He is the elder son of Sunjay Kapur. Kiaan looked distraught as we saw even during his last rites. The cremation happened at Lodhi Crematorium. Kareena and Karisma walked in together for the prayer meet. This is also an opportunity for all staff from Sona Comstar to pay their last respects to Sunjay Kapur.

His wife Priya Sachdev is in Delhi with his mother, Rani Surinder Kapur who lost her son. Sunjay Kapur has two sisters Mandhira Kapur Smith and Superna Kapur Motwane. The businessman who had degrees from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Harvard Business School was an avid polo player. He owned a team as well. Sunjay was a doting father to his children, Samaira and Kiaan from Karisma and a baby boy, Azarias from Priya Sachdev. He equally loved his step-daughter Safira Chatwal from Priya’s first marriage with Vikram Chatwal. All of them have come for the last rites.
