Following the news of Sunjay Kapur's death, Kareena Kapoor Khan and her husband, Saif Ali Khan, were seen arriving at Karisma Kapoor's residence late Thursday night. The couple, visibly distressed, were there to offer their support to Karisma during this difficult time. Malaika Arora, along with her sister Amrita Arora and brother-in-law Shakeel Ladak, visited Karisma Kapoor's home earlier in the evening to offer their condolences. Malaika, dressed in a light beige ensemble, appeared somber as she spoke with family members before leaving.

Sunjay Kapur, who passed away in the UK at the age of 53 due to a reported heart attack during a polo match, was a prominent figure in business and sports. As the chairman of Sona Comstar, he was a major player in the automotive industry. Additionally, he was actively involved in motorsports and polo. Sunjay Kapur, who married Karisma Kapoor in 2003, had two children, Samaira and Kiaan, with her. They separated in 2014 and divorced in 2016. In 2017, he married model Priya Sachdev and had a son, Azarias, while also co-parenting Priya’s daughter from a previous marriage.

Moments before his unexpected death, Sunjay had used X (formerly Twitter) to offer his condolences to the victims of the Air India crash in Ahmedabad, writing, “Terrible news of the tragic Air India crash in Ahmedabad… May they find strength in this difficult hour."
