Jatin Shah strongest contender for Sahdev

As the ball sets rolling and the queen of daily soaps Ekta Kapoor has started the shooting of the much-awaited epic Mahabharata, she is still yet to finalize some of her cast members. Telly Buzz gets to know some more.

A reliable source from Balaji reveals to us that members from the Ekta clan will be playing some of the pivotal roles in the epic that is to be aired on 9X. While it is being contemplated who among Karan Patel and Shabbir Ahluwalia will essay the role of Arjun, the role of the younger Pandava brother Sahdev, has been assigned to Jatin Shah. The bad boy of television, Chetan Hansraj, will play the role of the strongest Pandava, Bhim, while Hiten Tejwani will get to play the role of either Karan or Yudhisthir.

The two beauties of television, Anita Hassanandani and Gauri Pradhan, are vying for the role of Draupadi but it has been heard that if Ekta feels that they do not fit the bill, she plans to conduct a nation wide hunt for an actor to be the face of the Pandavas wife. So who will be the lucky new face to join the Balaji camp?
