'I really love him,' says Meri Bhavya Life's Prisha Dhatwalia about Hiten Tejwani, Here's why

Actress Prisha Dhatwalia, who plays the lead in Sunjoy Waddhwa’s Sphereorigins’ Meri Bhavya Life, is in awe of veteran actor Hiten Tejwani. Not only did she mention that he brings a very positive energy to the set, but she also called him the biggest prankster when the cameras are not rolling.

“The prankster on our set is definitely Hiten Tejwani,” she said, adding, “I don’t know how he does it, but Hiten sir is one of those actors who not only lights up the screen but also brings so much energy to the set every time he enters. He’s always talking, cracking jokes, pulling everyone’s leg, and just trying to have fun wherever he can. So yes, I’d say he’s the biggest prankster on our team, and he's really good at it.”

Recalling a recent incident, she shared a fun anecdote that involved Hiten and her on-screen parents, played by Iqbal Azad and Prachi Kowli. She said, “We were shooting a scene, all four of us in the frame. There was a dialogue that I had to deliver, but I was taking a little time with it. The setting was such that Hiten Sir suddenly improvised something on the spot and said something really funny. Instead of getting thrown off or stopping the scene, I naturally responded to him in that same funny tone.”

“Even Prachi Ma’am and Iqbal Sir got so involved that we all just went with the flow and turned that moment into something hilarious. We added a few extra lines right there, and it actually turned out to be really entertaining. After that, we smoothly continued with the original scene. Moments like these really make me feel lucky to be working with such veteran and seasoned actors,” she added.

Prisha went on to say that her character looks up to Hiten’s role and added, “He plays a very important role as the father of Rishank and shares a special bond with Bhavya. When we talk about off-screen chemistry, he’s the most fun and lively person on set. All of us love him — and I really love him too!”
