Hiten Tejwani, who plays the role of Nitin Jaiswal in Sunjoy Waddhwa’s Meri Bhavya Life, which is produced under his banner Sphereorigins, shared that his role is quite important for the story to progress in the show. The show revolves around a plus-size woman, Bhavya, whose weight becomes the talking point of every get-together despite how talented she is. And Hiten’s character stands as a big support to Bhavya.
He said, “Nitin's character is important because he supports the girl, and of course, it's also for the good of his own son. But yes, his existence and his character are important to the story. So how he takes it forward is part of the story or the screenplay, but he will definitely be supportive and support his friend's family, that is, Bhavya and her family.”
Though he mentioned that it’s too early to talk about the feedback of the show, he shared that it’s been good. He said, “People are liking it. The story is a little different, and so is the character. I'm really loving my character, Nitin Jaiswal. Let's hope they continue loving the character and keep loving the show as well.”

He also stressed that the show is delivering a very strong message in the society and is creating a conversation around body shaming. He said, “The whole message about body shaming and about how a person’s inner qualities, or a person’s true qualities, are more important than how they look or how they appear is very important.”
“There are so many people who face body shaming and go through such kinds of experiences or situations,” he added.

Though he mentioned both men and women become victims of body shaming equally, he feels that the show is based on real instances. He said, “The story or the writer is taking things, instances, or examples from the real world, where this must be happening. That’s why we’re trying to show that because it does happen.”
“We want to pass on the message that if it is happening, it needs to stop, and we should try to do something about it,” Hiten ended.
