‘Kya influencer? Mere liye tum COMEDIAN ho': Karan Patel shares his take on CONTENT CREATORS

Karan Patel, known for his stint in shows like Kasturi, Yeh Hai Mohabbatein and more is hands down, one of the finest actors of the hindi entertainment industry. The actor recently sparked debates online after he admitted to being 'out of work' for the past few years.

In the same conversation with Bharti Singh and Haarsh Limbachiya, Karan was also asked about his take on the growing number of podcasts in todays day and time and the Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, at his candid best, is seen wondering who watches the podcasts if everyone is a 'creator' today. Then emphasizing on the word 'creator,' Karan says, ''Saare hi content banayenge toh dekhega kaun? Definition koi raha hi nahi hai na, 'content creators.' Kisi ko bhi bolo kya hai? 'I am a content creator.' Kaunsa content yaar? Hum ne toh dekha hi nahi tera content koi. Aur sab hi create karenge toh dekhega kaun?''

''Main dusri party ka hero bann ke bethunga na, main viewer ka hero. Main kuch banata hi nahi. Jitna bhi banaoge, bechoge toh mujhe hi. Toh hogaya na pioneer,'' Karan then adds.

Speaking about how everything is ‘trend driven’ in today’s day and age, Karan states that people follow everything blindly. He also recalls the time when Instagram was launched and that the purpose of the platform was once sharing only pictures but today that too has changed. 

“Yahi dekh le na Bigg Boss mein hi, influencer kitne hai. Influencer pehle toh kaun? Influencer ka matlab bhi pata hai logo ko? Tu jo bhi kar raha hai muje tu influence nahi kar raha hai, Mujhe mazaa aaraha hai dekhne mein. Mere liye tu comedian hai, influencer nahi. Influencer tab hota hai jab tu jo kar raha hai tujse influence ho ke main kar ne lag jaun. Influencer Kya hota hai yaar?,” the Yeh Hai Mohabattein actor shares his take.
