Janmashtami celebrations on TV this year are a treat for the viewers!

The festival of Janmashtami marks the birthday of the almighty Lord Krishna! While we all are busy celebrating the festival with full of joy our Indian telly shows are no more lagging behind as few shows are celebrating Janmashtami on-screen with the same frolic by worshiping Lord Krishna and breaking the dahi handi. Here we are discussing about few shows celebrating Janmashtami:

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Little Naksh (Shivansh Kotia) has been dressed up as Lord Krishna he will be breaking the Matka along with his friends. The Singhania family worships Lord Krishna on the auspicious occasion of Janmashtami. Karan Mehra aka Naitik says, "Naksh has been dressed up as Kanha and the family will be celebrating Janmashtami along with the kids."

Chidiya Ghar: Beautiful Mayuri (Debina Bonnerjee Choudhary) is all set to break the dahi handi this time admist the Janmashtami celebrations in the family. It will be a treat for the fans of Chidiyaghar to watch her breaking the dahi handi. Sharing her experience of breaking the dahi handi for the first time, she said, "Some guys were called to break the dahi handi in front of our house on the occasion of Janmashtami but no one from the house was ready to climb up and break the dahi handi so I climbed up to break the dahi handi. Initially, it was all planned that a dupe will be used and later I will be standing on a crane to give a top shot and I agreed. Then, I asked one of the guy to show me how to climb and I tried and I climbed on my own and reached the top and everyone around happily started screaming and clapping. I had only seen this in films but this is an experience for a lifetime of doing it all by myself. I thanked the boys wholeheartedly that even if the shoulders of the boys became slippery after the dahi had fallen upon them, I managed to get down safely with their help. They shook hands with me around hundred times and they complimented me saying I am daring, adventurous, it's going to be the best episode so far and so on and their smiles spoke more than words."  Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah: How can our dear members of Gokuldhaam lag behind in celebrating a festival? The residents of Gokuldhaam society are all set to celebrate the birthday of Lord Krishna will full of joy with Daya Ben's (Disha Wakani) Garba flavor added into it.

Pavitra Rishta: While every time Manav used to break the dahi handi in his chawl this time its Soham (Ankit Narang) and Sachin (Anubhav Srivastava)  who will be breaking the dahi handi in the chawl.  

Madhubala - EK Ishq Ek Junoon: Janmashtami celebrations are on and Sultan (Avinesh Rekhi)  finds it difficult to locate Madhu (Drashti Dhami) among the dancers group but after his efforts, he finally succeeds in finding Madhu which will later result into a huge drama. Quite a dramatic dahi handi sequence!

Saath Nibhana Saathiya: The Modi family is all set to celebrate Janmashtami in a very unique way as the entire family members have been given one character to play in Krishna Leela where Ahem (Mohammad Nazim) will be playing Krishna and Gopi (Devoleena Bhattacharjee) will be playing his Radha. Whereas, the little Meera will also be dressed up as little Krishna for the play. Its would be quite fun to watch the Modi family donning different characters for their Janmashtami play.  

Amita Ka Amit: A Janmashtami special performance is going to happen in which Amita (Chandni Bhagwanani) performs as Radha thus surprising her family members who think that she won't perform.
