Rishabh Jaiswal says he misses the 'chorus gang' in YRKKH: 'One of the best part of Krrish's journey'

Rishabh Jaiswal, currently essaying the character of Krrish in Star Plus' Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, got in an exclusive chat with India Forums and spoke about his character in the show turning negative. Along with the same, the actor also spoke about missing his 'chorus gang' and called it the best part of Krrish's journey on the show.

Speaking to us about the same, the actor said, ''The chorus gang was honestly one of the best parts of Krrish’s journey. Charu, Kiara, Aaryan—and of course Krrish—made such a strong team. Personally, I really loved that version of Krrish. He was in a completely different zone back then, more grounded, more playful. But as everyone knows, post the leap, everything changed. The gang has disbanded, Charu is off on her own path, and from what we saw in the recent episodes, even Krrish and Kiara share a different kind of bond now. It’s emotionally layered.''

Further speaking about Aaryan's (Manthan Sethia) absence, the actor said, ''And then there’s Aaryan, who isn’t part of the picture anymore, which honestly leaves a big void. So no, the chorus gang isn’t what it used to be. It’s no longer that tight-knit group everyone loved watching.''

However, Rishabh is still hopeful about the future. He says, ''That said, you never know what might happen in the future. Things could change; they might even go back to how they were. As Rishabh, I genuinely enjoyed shooting those scenes with the chorus gang—it was always so much fun and full of energy. But now, Krrish is in a very different space. His character has a new narrative, a fresh set of challenges, and different relationships to explore. So for now, we go with this new version of Krrish and see where the story takes him."

Earlier speaking to us about his character in the show turning negative, Rishabh said, ''As you’ve already seen, Krrish has now fully embraced his role as the show’s new antagonist. Post-leap, his character has undergone a massive transformation. He was once the quintessential ‘ghar ka ladka’—the beloved younger brother, respectful, emotionally rooted, and always fighting for his passion, even if that made him come off as stubborn at times. But now, we’re seeing a very different side of Krrish: more fiery, more intense.''
