Television actress Lataa Sabharwal, widely known for playing Rajshri Maheshwari in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, took to her official Instagram account to share a deeply personal update on her marital life. In a brief but sincere note, she confirmed her separation from husband and fellow actor Sanjeev Seth, with whom she shares a son.

She wrote: After a prolonged silence... I declare that I (Lataa Saberwal) have been separated from my husband (Mr. Sanjeev Seth). I give gratitude to him for giving me a lovely son. I wish him all the best for his future life. I request everyone to please respect my and my family's peace and not to ask any questions or call regarding this. GRATITUDE.

She further requested for privacy on the same and asked everyone to not call or message her to talk about her divorce.
