"Bigg Boss Is Not for Me!" – Karan Patel slams reality show format

Karan Patel, best known for his iconic role as Raman Bhalla in Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, continues to have a massive fan following. But while many of his fans would love to see him on reality shows, especially Bigg Boss, the actor has made it clear that he has no plans of joining the show as a contestant.

Karan recently appeared on Bharti Singh and Haarsh Limbachiyaa's podcast, where he opened up about why he would never be a part of Bigg Boss. Speaking honestly, Karan said, "Bigg Boss is not meant for someone like me. It's not just the contestants who suffer inside the house, even their families and loved ones outside go through a lot. Staying locked in for three months is not easy."

He continued, "You will never see me as a contestant on Bigg Boss. I may appear as a guest, but that's about it. Even strong and composed people like Hiten Tejwani lost their cool on the show. I have zero tolerance—I just can't handle that environment."

Karan also expressed how the show has changed over the years. "Earlier, it was a celebrity-based show, and that was interesting. Now, they bring in people from all walks of life. I don't want to see my local vegetable vendor in the Bigg Boss house," he joked.

In the same conversation, Karan also opened up about a more serious issue—being out of work. The actor revealed that he hasn't received a single acting offer in the past six years. Despite his popularity and acting talent, the industry has been quiet for him. He admitted it hasn't been easy, but he remains hopeful.a
