'Not in touch with anyone from Chhoti Bahu': Rubina Dilaik says she 'struggles' to stay in contact

In a recent episode of Rubina Dilaik’s podcast Kisi Ne Bataya Nahi, actor Ankita Lokhande joined as a guest for a candid conversation about professional relationships, personal memories, and emotional journeys shaped by their long-standing television careers. Both actors, known for their lead roles in popular daily soaps, opened up about how their early shows impacted not just their careers but also their personal connections.

During the discussion, Ankita recalled her time on Pavitra Rishta, which aired in 2009. She shared that even after 16 years, she remains in touch with many of her co-actors from the show. ''I’ve made a WhatsApp group with everyone—Ruby, and the rest of the cast. I’m still in contact with most of them.”

In contrast, Rubina reflected on her experience with the show Choti Bahu, stating that she hasn’t stayed in contact with anyone from that set. “I’m not in touch with a single person from Choti Bahu,” Rubina said. She admitted that she has tried to bridge that gap over the years but hasn’t been successful. “It’s something I’ve struggled to overcome, but it’s still an ongoing journey,” she added.

The conversation shifted to how actors hold on to memories from their early days in the industry. Ankita shared that she often revisits those moments. “I’m someone who collects small memories. I’ve been taking photos and making videos since 2008. I have a whole journey saved on my phone—from photos to videos,” she said. She also mentioned that she has thousands of pictures, some of which she often shows to her husband, Vicky Jain.
