The Ranveer Singh-Sonakshi Sinha starrer is a period film set in the 1950s.

Trivedi, who has given hit music in movies like "Dev D", "English Vinglish" and "Bombay Talkies (2013)", collaborated with a Chennai-based band called Chennai Strings for the same.

"We are thrilled to work with Chennai String Orchestra for the music in our movie. It is really a proud feeling to work with such a renowned orchestra," a spokesperson for the film said in a statement.

Directed by Vikramaditya Motwane, the movie is a co-production of Balaji Motion Pictures and Phantom Films and is slated to release July 5.
