Ranveer Singh to do a film with Maddock? Here's why the actor is a perfect fit for their universe

Ranveer Singh has been missing from the screens since Cirkus. His fans are hoping that he will make a smashing comeback with Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar. The movie sees Ranveer Singh play a RAW agent Ajit Doval. Dhar has also roped in other big names like R Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna and Arjun Rampal in the movie. Ranveer Singh also has Don 3 in his kitty. The shoot of the movie is expected to begin somewhere in the later part of 2025. In the middle of all this, Ranveer Singh was seen outside the Maddock Films office. His fans are wondering if something is brewing between the two parties.

Maddock Films, the creators of India’s comic-horror universe have a number of movies lined up. Big stars like Alia Bhatt, Rashmika Mandanna, Kiara Advani, Akshay Kumar are doing films with them in 2026 – 2027. There is not much clarity on what projects Ranveer Singh has after Don 3. He was supposed to do Shaktimaan with Malayalam filmmaker Basil Joseph. However, that movie is not happening now. It is being reported that Allu Arjun and Basil Joseph might team up for the movie to be bankrolled by Sony Pictures. Ranveer and Prasanth Varma were also supposed to do a movie Rakshas but that got shelved due to creative differences.
