A behind-the-scenes video from the sets of Dhurandhar, directed by URI fame Aditya Dhar, has surfaced online, offering a first glimpse of Ranveer Singh in character. The actor, seen in long hair and a robe, instantly reminded fans of his menacing turn as Alauddin Khilji in Padmaavat.

In the leaked clip, Ranveer is seen stepping out of his vanity van and walking onto the set in costume, fully immersed in his role. The camera later focuses on Sanjay Dutt, also present on set, dressed in a white pathani suit with a shawl draped over his shoulders. The scene has stirred conversations online, with viewers drawing comparisons to past historical roles.

“BABA re BABA! Yeh crazy hoga. Can’t wait—Ranveer’s look is making me skip a beat already,” read one user comment. Another wrote, “Powerhouse Ranveer Baba & The Sanju Baba #Dhurandhar Killer scene.” Several fans echoed similar sentiments, while someone added, “Aag lagne wali hai! #Dhurandhar is 2X fire with Babas Ranveer and Sanju.”

Apart from Singh and Dutt, the ensemble cast includes R Madhavan, Akshaye Khanna, and Arjun Rampal. The project has been gaining traction for its scale and casting, with industry chatter suggesting that Aditya Dhar’s unique vision played a key role in bringing these names together.

Dhurandhar was officially announced in July 2024, putting an end to months of speculation about a Ranveer-Aditya collaboration. Sharing the news, Ranveer had written, “This one is for my fans, who have been so patient with me, and been clamouring for a turn like this... With your blessings, we embark on this great, big motion picture adventure... This time, it’s personal.”

Produced by Jyoti Deshpande of Jio Studios and backed by B62 Studios (Lokesh Dhar and Aditya Dhar), Dhurandhar marks their next major release after Article 370. While details about the film's plot remain under wraps, the recent leak has only intensified curiosity and buzz around the historical epic.
