Alia Bhatt all set to make her Met Gala Debut this year

2022 was a landmark year for her with Gangubai Kathiawadi, RRR and Brahmastra becoming the biggest blockbusters and the acclaimed Darlings, which was her maiden production venture. Well now Alia Bhatt is all set to take the global stage ahead of her much anticipated international debut with Heart of Stone. She is all set to make her debut at one of the biggest fashion events of the year Met Gala. 

Alia has carved her own space with her unique fashion choices, and is now taking it global at the most sought after red carpet across the world. 

Alia will be wearing a Prabal Gurang outfit for the red carpet. Held annually, the Met Gala is a charity benefit held by Vogue's editor-in-chief Anna Wintour to fundraise for the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Celebrities and designers come together to create unforgettable looks in the name of the Met Gala's theme.

Indian representation has been strong since 2017, when Priyanka Chopra, Deepika Padukone, and Isha Ambani made their MET debuts.

While last year Entrepreneur Natasha Poonawalla was the only Indian at this year's Met Gala. Keeping up with the previous year's theme, In America: An Anthology of Fashion, or Gilded Glamour, she appeared on the red carpet in a golden Sabyasachi saree with statement jewellery.
