Raagini is the 19 year old sister of Mr. Sharma who aspires to become an actress one day. But, she is in no position to share her thoughts with her brother as she is afraid if her brother finds out; he will send her back to Allahabad and marry her off to a Tiwari or Pandey. Raagini’s effort to match up to the life of an uptown and modern girl brings out all the humor in her character.
Dilip Kumar Sharma aka dabbu is 11 years old and is Mr. Sharma’s only son. He is smart, well mannered and knows how to deal with situations. A forward thinking child who understands the situation that the family is in, he always tries to cover up the mistakes committed by his family members. He is the apple of everyone’s eyes.
