@TM - I enjoyed reading your defense of shaurya. I can understand his mistrust and disdain. However, his dislike is focused on mehak. It needs to be more universal. Plus if this is his real character, it does not jive with his ultra-nice online persona. I think CVs need to tread carefully so that shaurya remains a believable character.
First of all, I really like your UN. I was hoping it would not be a defense. I was just trying to analyse his character. :)
Like I just said in reply to another post, I think in his head, he sees Mehek as a prototype middle class person and thus the embodiment of everything he hates. But I do agree with it, it needs to be more spread out and not concentrated on just one person. I would like to see similar dislike even if it is in lower intensity towards others too for it be more logical.
His ultra-nice online persona is in line with the person he is with his grandmother. I think it's his most honest self, one very very well protected and hidden and one MS is somehow privy to. Of course the Nani angle was just introduced today so there's more shades to this man.
The thing is there have been a lot of other male leads in shows that have done far worst things. I have been trying to figure out why we are all so upset about how Shaurya behaves, when comparatively it doesn't seem as bad as his predecessors. But perhaps that's a discussion for another day!
