Indian dubbing artists r really idiots. They just want to put nonsense dialogues like Indian shows.

Dat day Risat saying Jo tumlogon ne raita failaaya hai use sametna padega. It was so annoying to hear dat in a dubbed show 4m another country. Who says dat in Turkey?

Happy Sunday Everyone.😊

@Shruti I so so agree to your thoughts about Gullie. I support her and have full understanding for her for all the pain, trauma and humiliation she has gone through as a rape victim but her behavior nowadays irk me a bit too.⭐️

So I'll start with KF, I agree with most of you here spcly Vidya that Gullie is now in more than the friend mode zone with Kerim. She's genuinely worried for him, but not as a wife should cuz those deep passionate feelings are yet to come as she is in the incubation mode.

Kerim matters for her, but not like in the he means the world to me mode like generally we see between a husband wife. She coaxes and consoles him like a child, as a friend and not as a wife, and this sometimes makes me want her to be vocal about her feelings.
Kerim is such a real flawed character with being emotional and impulsive as his shortcomings, so right now he needs her to hug him, hold his hand and tell him that everything is going to be fine. Like she was telling to the psychiatrist that he needs to open up about his feelings to her, then I think she should try the same thing.

But again, I really admire as to how when she was in Meriyam's room, she was genuinely concerned for him even when she was mad at him for behaving this way. The way she told Meriyam that they shouldn't let him go alone cemented the fact, that she has traveled a long way in her feelings for Kerim.
Had it been, our earlier Gullie not only she would've slapped him, screamed at him or probably again lose her trust on him but it wasn't the case this time.
I think Zindagi kept the translation intact cuz the original dialogues posted here when translated to Hindi made sense but messed up with the last part I guess.

Meriyam. ❤️ I love her for being so strong, so supportive and so caring. Her patiently listening to Gullie when she was crying, then bringing her breakfast the next morning and asking her to stay back was so sweet. Saas Ho To Aisi. ❤️
She even took Muqaddas with her so that she doesn't disturbs her. I love how she says Muqaddas Madam! 😆😆

Muqaddas, I feel like vomiting in my mouth a little now as I write about her.
She has to poke her nose in every damn matter, snoop around everyone's room and keep those dirty pervy thoughts for Kerim.
That rubbing of her cleavage while talking about Kerim and saying, "Garam Khoon Hai..!!" was so Eww! 🤢
That Boob shake while talking about KF, god! 😆😆
Loved how Meriyam gave her a piece of mind that its their life, they can do whatever they want and neither she nor her have the right to speak up in between which was a polite way of asking her to shut up.👏
Also Rahami needs to put a filter on his mouth and stop poking his nose between Kerim and Gullie. I get he's her brother but sometimes, its wiser to let two ppl solve their own issues.

I like Mehmat, though he is sometimes inquisitive about what's going around in Gul Muftangi but he's sweet and I liked how he woke Kerim up and brought breakfast for him.😳

Then the apology scene.. I loved Kerim's heartfelt apology to her and like I've said he must've just tried to get a hug or maybe a kiss but what he did was wrong and I loved how he owned up to it, like a true man. Forcing yourself on any woman doesn't makes you a real man.
Gullie standing there, accepting the apology, crying in her room yet still trying to give him the sweater she had knitted for him shows how much she has begun to care for him.
There were days, where she couldn't stand even a mention of him and had she been the same till now she would've again screamed at him and never forgave him but she did accept his apology.
She's maybe just a few steps away from the stage to have those deep passionate feelings about him like a wife should. ❤️

I like how Risat Yasran goes all irritated on Erdogan! 😆😆😆 The face he made when Selim told him that Erdogan is getting ready and will be downstairs soon. 😆😆
"Hum Prosecutor Ke Saamne Gawaahi Dene Jaa Rahe Hain! Kissi Shaadi Mein Nahi Jaa Rahe!" 🤣🤣
His continuous yells of "Erdogan! Erdogan!" cracks me up! 🤣

And it did seem the way, Erdogan was getting dressed and spraying perfume over him that he was going to some wedding! 😆😆😆
Hilmiye bitching about Perihan! 🤣
Ab lag raha hai, Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki..!!
🤣🤣
But on second thoughts, I love how hot Kaan looks in Formals and his tattoos. ❤️
Also Erdogan's house is so so gorgeous.

Meltem and Ender giving up their statements to Kadir and I'm happy that the sissy has put her brains aptly somewhere even if its for her father.
Also, the actress playing Meltem looks really pretty in less or no makeup like Leman. 😳
Serdar maybe still doesn't has an idea of what a snake this Douchepants Mustafa is and keeps him warning for everything.
His shit in pants expression was so amusing for me that he at instance decided to wrap up everything and move abroad.😆😆😆

After Turaner, Risat Yasran's adult diaries are up! 🤣🤣 And who watches it first?
The witch from Raaz - Perihan! 😆😆😆
Those photos of that Tharki Buddha with Yasmeen were so ewww...🤢
Inka Poora Khandaan Hi Chichora Hai Kya? Disgusting!
Those kissing pics were such a nightmare, I might want to wash my eyes with acid! 😡
It'll be interesting as to how Perihan reacts to it! 😉😆😆

PS - There's something really sexy in the way Engin walks! ☺️❤️

The Indian Dubbing Artists will dub the Turkish words and phrases in accordance to the Indian Audiences and what they'll understand better. You should know that its the first time India is watching Turkish shows on Indian TV and majority aren't online viewers like most of us and still watch it regularly on TV.

Every foreign series which is dubbed here in India, has some kicks of our Desipann to make it more appealing and interesting. On this thread, members have a good knowledge of Turkish words but a large section of audience doesn't so they won't be able to connect if Turkish phrases are kept intact.

Similarly when Indian shows are dubbed abroad, they add a kick of their own language and that is not some big deal.
And I don't think, ppl have a problem with that its actually funny yet amusing to hear then say such dialogues spcly the artist for Kaan as Erdogan and even Munir like we've discussed many times on this thread.

I agree they mess up with the translation but next time, think rationally before being so rude and singling out every time.

@kamala
Thank you for all the info. I remember those episodes. Kerim's sadness made me really upset. But Engin was brilliant in all those scenes. Therefore I liked watching those scenes although I really felt sorry for Kerim.

Fatmagul was very popular in Turkey. Every week (one episode is shown in Turkey per week) Fatmagul was the most watched show in Turkey. Fatmagul also did well in many other countries in the world. But I guess in India the success is not as huge right?

I'm living in Germany, not in Turkey right now. I was born in Germany. My grand parents came here as workers during the 50's-60's. Since then we are living in Germany. But of course I am always in Turkey during holidays. I visit Turkey at least twice a year because I have got family over there. After graduating from university however I will go back to Turkey and only live there. So after a few years, I will live in Turkey insallah :)

Indian serials are shown in turkish television. There is one channel called "Kanal 7" which shows indian tv serials. It started with Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam doon with Barun Sobti and Sanaya Irani, which was a huge success in Turkey. Many people in Turkey now know Arnav and Khushi :D

Then the channel showed the serials "Rangrasiya" (with Sanaya again), and Beintehaa (with Preetika Rao and Harshad Arora). Currently they show "Madhubala - Ek Ishq, ek junoon" (with Vivian and Drashti) and "Sapna Ka Babul Bidaai" (with Sara Khan and Parul Chauhan). After those two serials, they will show many more indian serials. But the most successful amongst all of them was "Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam doon".

Regarding your question to Beren..Yes, Beren is very popular in Turkey. One of the most popular actresses along with Tuba Buyukustun. In Turkey she is even more popular than Engin. She is married with famous turkish singer Kenan Dogulu. Beren especially gained success after the serial "Aski memnu", where she played a woman, who betrayed her husband. Then with Fatmagul she became even more famous. Everyone in Turkey knows her. She is not somebody, you could ignore.
Although her last show "kosem" did not very well, she still is one of the most popular actresses.

If I should do a ranking around popularity of turkish actors in Turkey, I would get such a ranking.

Turkish actresses:

1. Beren Saat/Tuba Buyukustun (Can't decide between them because both are very popular in Turkey)
2. Berguzar Korel/ Fahriye Evcen ( Again both are very popular. It's hard to decide, who is more famous)
3. Serenay Sarikaya (Very popular actress amongst the younger generation)
4. Asli Enver (Especially popular nowadays)
5. Meryem Uzerli (Was very popular during "Muhtesem Yuzyil" but people star loosing interest in her)

...and many more others. If I did not forget somebody, then those were the most popular ones.

Regarding to actors it would look like the following...

1. Kenan Imirzalioglu/ Kivanc Tatlitug (Both are very famous in Turkey. Can't decide again who is more famous)
2. Burak Ozcivit/ Halit Ergenc (Again the same. Especially Burak is famous amongst younger generations)
3. Engin Akyurek (Engin has many fans in Turkey, but is not as much popular in the press as the ones I've mentioned before)
4. Kerem Bursin / Cagatay Ulusoy (Very popular amongst the younger generation)
5. Engin Altan Duzyatan/ (Very popular currently due to his show "Dirilis Ertugrul" in Turkey)

So that's the situation in Turkey amongst popular actors I would say. But if I have to do a raking with worldwide popularity the situation would look different.

Actors list would look like this then...

1. Engin Akyurek
2. Burak Ozcivit/ Kivanc Tatlitug
3. Kenan Imirzalioglu / Murat Yildirim/ Halit Ergenc (All three are pretty on the same level regarding to fame)

As you see, Engin has many fans in other countries. What is special about him is, that all his fans are the ones, who are most passionate about their idol. Engin fans are always very "hard working"to show him their love. He has very loyal fans. If people once have become a fan of Engin, then they can't leave him. :)

Regarding to actresses worldwide I would say...

1. Tuba Buyukustun
2. Beren Saat
3. Fahriye Evcen / Meryem Uzerli

Tuba is definitely on the first place. She is also very famous like Engin is, in the world.

Both of them are the only turkish actors, who were nomineed for the "international emmys" in the category "Best actor/best actors". This also actually shows, how popular Engin and Tuba are worldwide.

By the way.. In Turkey the television sector is much more imporantant than the film sector. It's exactly the opposite as compared to India. Turkish serials are much more important than films. Therefore our television sector is very big. It comes second after the USA. Turkish serials are sold to many countries all over the world. :)

@ayda: Nice to meet u😊. I am Juhi. Its good to hear many things 4m u. I found a mehndi function video of Fatmagul show on Youtube where all r dancing but there is no mehndi scene in it. Since u r 4m Turkey, can u post any mehndi applying photo or video or even Gif here? Among d hindi shows u mentioned, I only watched Beintehaa. I watch less serials now cuz of bad, misogyinitic n regressive content. U sud try Beintehaa. Its a lovely show widout much over the top thkngs shown. D show became very popular even though it was d debut show of Harshad n Preetika. Is Indian show Qubool Hai telecast there as on social media its very popular even outside India?

I think I said too much though I did npt wanted to be rude. But I was annoyed wid them for messing up Kerim's dialogues in drunk scene n FG's badtameezi dialogue. Yaa I agree Raita failaana was fine but sometimes some dialogues r vhanged in such way dat we r not aware of. They sud atleast tell d prpper name of d dishes. They call Ayran which is d national drink of Turkey as lassi. But once they called d proper name of a sweet called Tulumba which FG brought on her 1st day of work wid her tip money. Glad they did not callit Jalebi or Imarti as its made similar to them nnluks somewhat like them😆.

You stole my words today. I actually feel there are certain things that are more entertaining and enjoyable in translated-dubbed version. For e.g- MQ saying "laddoo baatoon", Meriyem saying "Muqaddes Madam", Risat-Munir scolding Erdo-Selim in desi phrases.
Also, I want to mention that initially I felt disappointed by Kerim's translated dialogue "mujhe apne kareeb aane do" but on a second thought, it seems more apt given that Fatma slapped him coz he actually tried to forcefully hug her. And after all, somewhere this dialogue and later his apology made more sense. He actually wanted to get closer to her because of his current situation.

Anyway, my point is that though I am very thankful to all who post original dialogues because they have viewed the show previously, but for a first time viewer, like myself, it doesn't matter much. It only makes a difference to me when I read those original dialogues here.
"Ki farak painda hai yaar. Ohna di gal-baat samajh tan aa jandi hai na." 😆

In the end, I would say that I am happy with the Hindi dubbing and translation. Not to forget, I love the voices of all dubbing artists in this show. Kerim's voice artist is my most favorite.
