I watched the scene again and it was so clear, that when Vural came charging towards him Mustafa called him names and accused him for lying in the court and spoiling FG's life. Mr Douchepants, picked up the stone that Vural gave to Kerim and hit him so hard that he ended up falling on a piece of broken glass. So yes, that hit on the head was crucial in murdering Vural.

I agree! He did attack Vural.

Also, the heinous nature of his crime doesnt end there. He ran away. He calmly went n docked the boat, talked with men to make sure people knew he was at the opposite shore in case the police questioned anyone & left home calmly the next morning. Who knows if Mustafa had called an ambulance, maybe Vural would have survived?
