Fatmagul Thread # 4 - Page 18

I just absolutely and totally loved yesterday's scene between Fatmagul and Kerim where they have a tearful heart to heart and then hug each other. The way Fatma worries abt Kerim and her togetherness being negatively affected by the case, the way she despairs abt the outcome of the lawsuit, the way Kerim consoles her, their heartbreaking tears, that beautiful kiss, Fatma's lovely serene expression when Kerim kisses her and then wipes away her tears and then that beautiful hug where Fatma for the first time without any inhibitions reaches out for Kerim and hugs him too... it was such a breathtakingly beautiful scene. Also, the background score played during the whole time was so soulful and made the scene even more stunning. This has to be one of my most fav scenes from all the shows I have watched till date.

Yesterday's and today's episodes were so emotionally fraught, it was difficult to find lighter moments. Yet there were a few.

I found Qadir scolding Kerim (yesterday) so cute, like an exasperated father upbraiding his sulky teenage son. "Dimaag hai ki nahi tumhare paas?" 😳😆

There are times when the dubbing has me in splits. The boardroom fight between the Yasaran Kameena Party was so entertaining, further spiced up by dialogues like:
"Gadho ke sar pe seeng nikal aaye hai!"
"Biwi ke pyaar mein majnu ho raha hai"
"Pehle khud ko toh bacha le beta!" 🤣

Sami flirting with Asu was another adorable moment. After Salih, we discover another life-form higher than Mustafa-- given a chance for redemption, he promptly took it.
Anyone else shipping Sami-Asu now?😎

Rehmi is starting to irritate me now. Joru ka ghulam! 👎🏼 Poor Murad--the kid is sandwiched between a family feud.

I think the Besharmi Bug has bitten me too. 😛 Waha bechara Kerim is tadpofying in jail, and yaha my heart is doing somersaults seeing his unshaven look. 🤪 Most guys would just appear dorks with long hair and that stubble, but he comes out looking like The Lion King with that mane. It fits that he is paired opposite Lioness Fatmagul of the flashing eyes and unfettered spirit.

Any Castle fans here? Yesterday's scene where Fatmagul tells Kerim she doesn't care about the case anymore, and wants them to go away somewhere, reminded me of Castle's S05 E01 where Kate tells Rick she doesn't want to find her mother's killer anymore, she just wants hm to her away someplace.

Today, again, Fatmagul putting away Kerim's things in her cupboard (a sign she is ready for him to move wholly into her life) was reminiscent of Kate clearing a drawer in her home for Rick's things. Acceptance, though slow, is all the sweeter when it finally comes. 😳

@Vidya-I told you its gonna be a long post 🤣 I guess I became too involved in this character! 😆 But like you said, Vural is a debatable character so you just can't help but go on and on writing about him! 😳
