"But still all is not lost. Given the dashing duo's i.e Kaderbhai and Omer's credentials and track record, hopefully they will manage to come up with something to again turn things around in their favor "

Ok got the hint @Pankhh and I am relieved 😊.
Someone here mentioned about Mustafa being the lucky one to have slept with three beautiful women of the show,Asu,Meltham and FG...I want to clarify that Fatmagul DID NOT sleep with him .
Thank you everyone for the amazing analysis...like I mentioned before " ek se badh kar ek"πŸ‘

@Eirene - Completely in sync with your thoughts. As @poweritz said, it's a very indepth and sensitive analysis by you indeed. Key here, as you rightly suggested, is to be sensitised to and understand things from both the protagonists perspectives.

Fatmagul, as you said, was completely justified in her anger and distrust of Kerim in the beginning for his role on that fateful night when her world had come crashing down around her. She had known him only from that night and it was natural for her to think the worst of him along with the other three brutes. But gradually as she got to know him, she realised how much he regretted his role in having that tragedy befall her, how much he regretted pointing her out to them first and then not coming to her rescue... how he had been telling her the truth when he kept saying he hadn't touched her that night. And as she kept realising all this, her behaviour towards him kept changing... her attitude towards him kept softening... to the extent that now she not only trusts him but also deep down loves him (even though she may not be consciously aware of it/ready to acknowledge it to herself yet). But had she not given him a chance, however unwillingly, to show her his deep regret/his care/his love/his determination to make amends for what he had done, she wld never have been able to forgive him, let alone love him. And as u said, it is this experience of hers with him that had taught her - to not always judge things based on how they seemed from outside, to give people a chance to at least plead their case if they persistently and genuinely asked for one, to at least try and make the effort to forgive someone if they were willing to do anything to make amends for their mistakes in their quest to redeem themselves. She had learnt from her own expr that doing so can only help one to move ahead, leaving all the painful experiences behind. And it is this learning of hers that she wanted Kerim to benefit from.

For Kerim's own sake, its imp for him to know the truth abt his father and his reasons for not coming to claim him. Only then he can decide whether he deserves a chance at redemption or not...coz if there was even a little chance of that, it was worth taking it as it wld then mean Kerim too had a chance at aspiring for absolute and true happiness in his life minus the woeful baggages of the past (as u/others said above)

Of course his giving a chance to his father does not mean the years he had spent deprived of his love cld be compensated for or returned back to him. That wld never happen but at least by doing so he wld have a better chance at a blissful and a more happier tomorrow. Just like Fatmagul giving a chance to Kerim did not mean the horrors of that night cld be undone. What she had lost that night was lost forever but by forgiving him, she was giving herself and him a chance for a happier, harmonious tomorrow.

Coming back after a break. Amazing to see so many varied, indepth, substantive reviews of the last few episodes. So great to finally have a show worthy of such discerning fans and incisive reviews :))

@poweritz - It's really lovely and commendable how you always make the effort to individually acknowledge and appreciate posts regardless of who they may be from (new, old, frequent, infrequent members) instead of confining yourself to the comforts of an establsihed coitre as is unfortunately seen often enough in public forums. Others do so too at times, but your effort is really noteworthy. Shows what a gem of a person you really are. Your amazing warmth, grace, affable spirit and encouraging vibe is truly infectious and definitely lifts the mood of this forum. We all can learn a lot from you :). What a wonderful addition you are to the India forums family. Always be the way you are and keep spreading love, cheer and happiness around :))

Cheers

I missed few parts of the episode coz I was busy chatting with my girlfriends, 3 of them are getting married soon so we were all pulling their leg πŸ˜†πŸ˜†

---------------------
Here's a review of what I did see!!

I read this quote somewhere:

"Holding a grudge doesn't make you strong, it makes you bitter. Forgiving doesn't make you weak, it sets you free"

Kerim always expected FG to forgive him and to a large extent she has, but when it comes to forgiving his dad he won't even give it a thought. I like the way FG explained it to Kerim, it was really nice of her to see things from his dad's perspective. Maybe there was a reason behind all that happened or maybe what Kerim thinks is true. But he wont have any peace of mind until the truth comes out. So I guess he should face his dad, not for his dad's peace but his own.

Kerim is a gem, he's the sorta true love we can only dream of finding in our lives. I don't think people like that exist or if they do they are very rare. His happiness on seeing FG succeed is magnificent. When she signed the paper the smile on his face was priceless. 😳😳

FG has really grown as a person, she has become so mature. She almost reminds of Meriyam. The way she helped Kerim understand his dad's perspective was commendable πŸ‘

Now back to the jerks, Rissat's room reminds me of an antique shop. i mean the chairs table everything is sooo antique πŸ˜†πŸ˜†. So now he's getting tired of giving away money like candy. Good, if only he'd taught some values to his son when he was younger.

Munir is such a perv, he's on a recruitment mission these days, any shady character will do.

MQ I think to some extent is thinking about running away with Salih, she wont actually do it (I hope) but she is defo thinking about it. This woman will never change.

Meltem looked pretty, but a bit over-dressed to meet Mr D. It looked like she was on a date. So she knows what Musti did, how he lied his way to move up the ladder. Even after knowing his real face she'll have a ONS with him, the thought makes me puke a little in my mouth. 😑😑

Erdo/Selim ki haalat, I love their jail time scenes. So calling Meltem. The one person from the entire Yasran clan whose not on their side?? Why? Maybe Selim wanted to have a romantic chat with his dear wifey πŸ˜†πŸ˜†. Dun worry you'll get it in the next epi πŸ˜†

Kadir was really disappointed to hear about kerims arrest. I just hope it doesn't ruin their case. 😭

@ishani123, I'm very grateful to your kind words. I am a newbie to the thread and your words are very welcoming to me. If I'm acknowledging the writers here, it's because I thoroughly enjoy reading each and every word they write. The level of involvement is very high, indicated by each word chosen and the tone of explanation. I write very monotonously, to be honest! Many a times, my interpretation of characters is not complete. But I love to see the vacuum filled by the growing list of writers, and each writer has brought a new outlook to discuss about. And the thread is now running strong as a family where no one is left out. People may be infrequent, or may not be writing at all, but their active presence as readers can't be forgotten. I am very happy to see this family grow and express its full blossom!

@poweritz- I absolutely love reading your reviews. I totally agree with your two cents on Kerim/FG 😊

@Rads-R- i ageew with your take on Musti. He is perhaps the only person who doesn't regret a thing he did. According to him he was the only one wronged during the entire course of time. At some point of time even the worst of all Erdogan and Selim felt regret and sorry for FG. But this man, not a chance. 😑

@blyton- Welcome to the forum, loved reading you review πŸ€—

@Muskaan I can't even start on Fawad Engin! πŸ˜†πŸ˜†πŸ˜† But they're so similar in their traits, both are shy and don't consider good looks to be in the favor of an actor, rather work on their craft.
Like SaraF mentioned once, that Engin doesn't even minds to look ugly onscreen same goes for Fawad who's even ready to play a buffon. If Engin played an epileptic man onscreen, Fawad played this chichora paindu, (villager.) with dark skin and yellow teeth! πŸ˜†πŸ˜†πŸ˜†
I agree with that romancing thing, you won't believe that even now when I watch Fawad's romantic scenes I blush like a teenager as if he's saying those to me. ☺️ πŸ˜†πŸ˜†
He even played the hot homosexual Rahul Kapoor in Kapoor And Sons.
Okay, this is going elsewhere and I'm not indulging in this as its off topic. πŸ˜›
In short, I love both and its almost difficult to not draw comparisons between them as they have a cosmic connection! ❀️

@Aashi I agree with your points always! πŸ˜†πŸ˜†πŸ˜†
Humsafar was regressive for me and I agree that I too find traces of Zaroon in Kerim but in emotional scenes, you do see traces of that sensitive Asher Hussain post leap in our Kerim.😳

@poweritz Its real sweet as to how you wait for our analysis everyday, when you yourself are so brilliant in pointing out the most important details.⭐️😊

I'll start with Kerim today. His state of mind, His dilemma, His anger was justified and understandable. For god's sake, he was just a kid back then. And whatever happened, be it his mother's depression or her suicide had left a deep impact on his little mind which had just grown through years.
I can't imagine how painful it must be for a little child to see his mother hanging dead in front of his eyes. He wasn't wrong when he pointed out that if his father was so worried about him, then why didn't he came back for him? If Meriyam hadn't been there to support him what would've happened to little Kerim?!

His anger, His tears were heartbreaking as you only feel like giving him a hug.
Engin was so amazing in the scene, reading his father's letter again and calling him. πŸ‘πŸ‘ His expressions, His angst were beautifully transported on the camera, again reminding me of the scene in Humsafar where Asher finally reads Khirad's letter. πŸ‘πŸ‘
Engin Fawad, such amazing actors! πŸ‘
No comparison meant, but I just can't help.

I feel so bad for Meriyam Maa, her tears define her struggle to keep everything in place. Guide Rahami, Support FG, Help Kerim and ward off Muqaddas. She's one of the strongest and most sensible woman characters of the show, it hurts to see her cry like that. But I feel she wasn't wrong in her standing, all these times she received his father's letters and read them only to keep a tab on him and even help him when required. I loved the point she cleared out to Kerim that she won't come in between a father and son.

For Kerim, I too think like Fatma mentioned that is important to know the truth and then give a chance to his father for his own peace of mind and happiness.
Half truth is way dangerous than a lie and it would be apt if he judges his father only after knowing what were the situations that time.
I loved how FG pointed out that life and situations have taught her to look at every thing beyond a certain point of view.
Having said that, I thoroughly feel the pain and angst Kerim feels on having such a devastating childhood. That scene in the FB where little Kerim comes in to find his mother hanging was so heartbreaking.

So happy to finally see that the restaurant project coming together and It was so sweet of Meriyam to let FG sign the deal papers. ❀️

So Salih is set to work after his meeting with Munir and I'm saying this as a female that it has to be the most dumbest idea and if I was in place of Muqaddas, I wouldn't have believed a penny of it. Needless to say, Muqaddas is dumb to fall into his trap again. But her realization as Rahami's words hit her is nothing short of love. No matter how or why, but she is married to him and loves him.

Vural seems to be recovering and taken away, that was very much required. Hilmiye and Perihan's tears are making me so irritated cuz they're behaving as if their sons are some innocent souls who are suffering for no reasons.😑
Erdogan and Selim not keeping well, and Erdogan's being sick expressions crack me up so hard! πŸ˜†πŸ˜†πŸ˜†
Selim : Mujhe Meltem se baat karni hai..!!
Erdogan : Abbey Chup Kar! 🀣🀣

I agree Meltem looked so hot in that black dress while she was at Mustafa's place that I was almost afraid, that Musti doesn't gets down to his Masti with her! πŸ˜†πŸ˜†πŸ˜†
Kadir Bhai looked thoroughly disappointed and angry at Kerim for concealing the drug incident from him and he isn't wrong cuz the case is getting weaker from their side.

Precap mein Meltem shocked me and Selim with her, "meri life mein koi aa chuka hai..!!" πŸ˜²πŸ˜†πŸ˜† And the new promo, Mustafa can I kill you?! 🀬
