2 days to Rustom, Fawad Khan uses his charm to promote Akshay's movie!

After Ranveer Singh, Sidharth Malhotra and Varun Dhawan the next celebrity to promote Akshay Kumar's Rustom is Fawad Khan.

Just like Salman Khan and Sonam Kapoor, the handsome actor in his princely voice kept it simple to commemorate 2 days to Rustom and tweeted a video where he said, "As-salmu alaykum, sir. Rustom - 2 more days to go! Here's wishing the original khiladi from Bollywood, the very best with his next release. Mujhse aur, meri tarah baaki Pakistani fans ki taraf se aapko bahut-bahut duaayein. Aur umeed hai ki yeh bhi film bahut behtareen perform kare just like your past films."

Akshay replied to Fawad's video and said, "Wa alaykumu s-salam Fawad. Thank you for the wishes. Love to you and all in Pakistan. :) #2DaysToRustom"

Can anyone resist Fawad's charm and his smirk at the end of the video?

The movie is slated to release on 12th August, 2016 and also stars Ileana D'cruz and Esha Gupta.

The sequel to the superhit to roll with a fresh cast

Dhadkan was a huge hit in 2000, the riveting romantic saga caught the imagination of an entire generation. We know that it's sequel is a much awaited one and is all set to roll soon with a fresh script and cast.

Naturally, the makers have taken more than a few heartbeats to decide the main lead. After all, they would definitely want to create the same magic that Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty and Shilpa Shetty had created back in the day.

Buzz has been that Sooraj Pancholi is inching very close to the finishing line and joining him there is Fawad Khan for one of the roles. Now, SpotboyE.com has it, that if all goes well, Shraddha Kapoor may get into Shilpa's shoes.

Shraddha's career is on an all time high, be it Baaghi or Aashiqui 2 or the yet to be released Rock On!! 2, the lady seems to be the flavour of the season. She can be fiercely romantic and vulnerable at the same time, a perfect fit for Shilpa's part.

Sixteen years back when Dharmesh Darshan's musical romantic drama Dhadkan made it to the silver screen, the response was sensational. The film depicted an intense love triangle and it was a critical as well as commercial success. It had even won Suniel Shetty the Filmfare Best Villain Award.

An official announcement about Dhadkan 2 is soon in the offing.
